2 Ingram Little League Board Meeting Sunday, July 9, 2017, 2:00pm Open Arms Ministry Called to order at 2:01 pm by James Craft, President Board members in attendance: James Craft, Sara Craft; Josh Craft, Ray Aitken, Catie Eastland Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes Motion to approve as-is by Josh; seconded by Ray; motion carried unanimously. All Star Tournaments Update Financial Report Approximately $193 due to Little League for Concessions profit. With about $500 in expenses, the tournament was not profitable. Game Results games went well; Burnet took Majors Softball and Minors Baseball. The last two games of the Intermediate tournament moved to Ingram from Boerne. Ray suggests looking into Corporate sponsor for future tournaments to help cover expenses. Fundraising Manager(s) Bonnie has stepped down from position James picked up the remaining popcorn & funds. Approx 10 people still owed the money for the popcorn sales. James will them for payment. Treasurer s Reports Motion to approve as-is by Catie; seconded by Josh; motion carried unanimously. Coaching Coordinator Report Ray: there is nothing to report; Rippe with be available on certain Sundays Goal is to get Kevin from ITM out for pitching coach. Information / Sponsorship Manager s Report Everything is mailed for renewals through May; still have some for Aug/Sept/Oct. Umpire Coordinator Report Everything went well for tournaments. Facilities & Maintenance Manager Mower got fixed; broke again today Josh will call Dennis to have him bust up the kid pitch field. General Discussion Catie: What happened with scoreboard invoicing? Technically, we still owe Spectrum for the repairs of the scoreboard, but we are disputing because it s a new scoreboard and repair should have been included in warranty. Security State sign is on scoreboard now; fence sign to come soon. Building Plan: meet 3-4 times July through mid-august to get plans together for grant submission; James will get with Scott about times that will be best for him to meet.
3 Mower Repair: only received $100 to date in donations, despite multiple pleas for donations. Globe Life Grant application was submitted in mid-june Catie: potential speaking engagments to raise money through West Kerr Chamber of Commerce Motion to adjourn made by Ray; seconded by Josh; motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 3:11pm.
