1 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OVERSEAS PROMOTION WITH HSBC VISA CREDIT CARDS 1. The Overseas Promotion ( Promotion ) is applicable to holders of HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card, HSBC Visa Gold Credit Card or HSBC Visa Classic Credit Card ( collectively as HSBC Visa Credit Cards ) issued by HCBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. 2. Cardholders must settle payment with their HSBC Visa Credit Cards in order to enjoy the offers ( Eligible Cardholders ). 3. Promotion details: Offers are provided by AirAsia, Singapore Airlines, and Agoda ( Promotion Suppliers ) with details as below: 3.1. AirAsia s offers HSBC Visa Credit Cardholders who pay the air tickets online with one of the above HSBC Visa Credit Cards will be entitled to a discount of round-trip airfare to Thailand and Malaysia as below: HCMC Bangkok: VND 2,283,000 (USD110) Hanoi Bangkok: VND 2,490,000 (USD120) HCMC Kuala Lumpur: VND2,179,000 (USD105) Hanoi Kuala Lumpur: VND3,714,000VND (USD179) Offers are valid for booking from 21 May 2012 to 30 May 2012 and travelling from 01 June 2012 to 30 September Offers are only valid for flights operated by AirAsia from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Thailand and Malaysia for Economy Class To enjoy the promotion price, online booking must be made via the specific Air Asia webpage whose address is provided by HSBC via and promotion online web page at Cardholders need to be the passengers Airfares are subject to change based on currency exchange rate of USD to VND at the time of purchase. All fees must be paid at time of purchase Offers are subject to seats availability at time of booking Ticket once issued is non-refundable, transferred or changed schedules. No-show charged fee is subject to Air Asia s policy Cardholders travelling need to provide all necessary travel documents (e.g valid passport, visa where applicable) at the time of departure. AirAsia reserves the right to deny guests from boarding without proper documentation.

Singapore Airlines s offers HSBC Visa Credit Cardholders who settle the ticket fee with one of the above HSBC Visa Credit Cards will be entitled to a discount of round-trip airfare to Singapore as below: HCMC Singapore: VND4,670,000 (USD223) Offers are valid for booking from 10 May 2012 to 24 May 2012 and travelling from 14 May 2012 to 31 July Offers are only valid for flights operated by Singapore Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore for Economy Class (V Class) Online booking must be made via this landing page at following link to enjoy the promotion price Cardholders need to be the passengers Airfares are subject to change based on currency exchange rate of USD to VND at the time of purchase. 3 4. The Lucky Draw: 4.1. Promotion Period: from 12 May 2012 to 09 August 2012, both days inclusive Promotion Details: Eligible Cardholders who perform oversease purchase transactions in store or on-line ( Eligibile Transactions ) during the promotion period will have a chance to win lucky draw prize, the New ipad, for every VND 1,000,000 (One million Vietnam Dong) spent with HSBC Visa Credit Cards. There are a total of 10 New ipads in the Promotion The number of Lucky Draw chances will be the result of the total eligible transaction value divided by VND1,000,000 and rounded down. HSBC Visa credit card numbers will be randomly picked in the Lucky Draw. For example, if the total eligible transaction value is VND 4,850,000, the credit card number of eligible cardholder will appear 4 times in the Lucky Draw list. Customers may check the total eligible transaction value during the Promotion Period via monthly credit card statements (hard copy or soft copy) Purchase transactions do not include card activation or cash withdrawal Transactions can be performed either by primary or supplementary credit cardholders HSBC reserves the right to determine whether a particular HSBC Visa cardholder is eligible to participate in Lucky Draw The Lucky Draw Event Details: The bank will use credit card numbers of the customers to randomly select for the lucky draw prizes The lucky daw will be conducted on the computer system of the Bank. Cardholder s credit card number will be randomly selected The Lucky Draw will be held at HSBC s head office, the Metropolitan building, 235 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City and witnessed by the representative of the Department of Trade and Industry, customers and HSBC staff. The lucky draw have been tentatively scheduled on 24 August The Cardholders are not required to be present at the event The lucky draw results will be documented and signed from all the witnesses Prize granting procedures: List of the lucky winners will be announced on the HSBC public website The Bank will notify the winners via phone or post (according to the phone number and correspondence address the the winners have registered at The Bank) within 05 business days since the Lucky Draw event. HSBC accepts no liability for undelivered notice due to

4 the incorrectness of the contact address and/or phone number provided by cardholders The lucky draw winners must collect their prizes within 30 days of the promotion ending at one of the Bank s Branches or Transaction Offices during business hours (i.e. from 8.30 PM to 4.30 PM, from Monday to Friday, except weekends, holidays or holidays in lieu). After the time permitted, winners that have not collected their prizes will forfeit their prizes and undisbursed prizes will be dealt with according to the law The prizes will be granted to primary cardholders, if supplementary cardholders are the winners The lucky winners will receive the prize at any branches and transaction offices of HSBC Vietnam The lucky winners is required to present the original copy notification letter (if any) and identification card or passport for verification by the Bank. In case if the winner authorizes to another person to collect their prize, the authorized person must present the original copy of his/her identification card or passport, the legal copy of the winner s identification/passport and the authorisation letter verified by the local authority If the prizes are refused, returned, HSBC will handle these prizes in accordance with the applicable laws The winners will lose the right to receive the prizes if they reject or return the prizes or they canceled or are canceling the card at the prizes announcement date. The prize will be dealt with according to the law HSBC is responsible in informing all the promotion details and terms and conditions and announcing the Lucky Draw results on at least one of the public channel The winners will bear all the costs incurred from the promotion prize (if any) The Bank will pay the ad-hoc Personal Income Tax for the prize value on behalf of each winner as stipulated by the law The prizes will be distributed to customers and cannot be exchanged for cash. The prizes are supplied and guaranteed by the supplier chosen by the Bank ( the Supplier ). The Bank is not the Supplier of the prizes and shall not hold responsible for any claim in relation to the quality of the Prize and services provided by the Supplier In case of any dispute related to this promotion, The Bank will handle the dispute in the most satisfactory way for the customer. If it fails in this respect, disputes will be solved according to the local law Once the promotion ends, the Bank will be responsible for reporting the implementation of the promotion according to the law governing the report time, report document and supporting documents (lucky draw result documents, lists of winners, acknowledgement of prize receipt or those documents proving that the prizes have been delivered).

5 4.11. For uncollected prizes, the Bank is responsible for transferring 50% of the value of those prizes to the State Treasury as stipulated on clause 4, term 96 of the Commercial Law. 5. HSBC accepts no liability for the quality of services provided by Promotion Suppliers. 6. With the customers consent, the Bank reserves the right to publish or display the name and picture of the customer in announcement and advertisements in newspapers and other media without paying any fee to the customer. 7. HSBC commits to take proper execution and is fully responsible for the Promotion followed by all the stipulations. 8. HSBC reserves the right in its absolute discretion to vary the terms and conditions of this Promotion or change or withdraw this Promotion at any time without giving any reason or prior notice. 9. In the case of any dispute, the decision of HSBC and Programme Suppliers shall be final. 10. In case of any dispute related to this promotion, The Bank will be responsible for solving the dispute in the most satisfactory way for the customer. If it fails in this respect, disputes will be solved according to the law. 11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Vietnam and participants of the Promotion agree to submit any dispute in relation to the Promotion to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vietnam.
