CORNER ARZOBISPO STREET, INTRAMUROS MANILA TELS TELEFAX NO.: WEBSITE: 20 January 2017 RE: RBAP 64th ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION AND GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines will hold its 64th Annual National Convention and General Membership Meeting on May 29-30, 2016 (Monday & Tuesday) at the Convention Hall of Baguio Country Club, Country Club Road, Camp John Hay, Baguio City The theme for the Convention is, RURAL BANKS: LEADING THE WAY FOR COUNTRYSIDE DEVELOPMENT AND INCLUSIVE GROWTH. It focuses on rural banks as prime movers of rural economic development driving growth and progress in the local communities by making quality and reliable financial products and services accessible for the underserved Filipinos. Rural banks continue to lead the path in advancing inclusive growth with their knowledge of the rural market and their unparallel passion to serve the needs of their clients. With the aforementioned, combined with good governance and institutionalization of sound management practices, the industry aims to deepen and widen its role in boosting local economies. For this national gathering, we are inviting speakers and experts from various institutions to provide insights about the industry, discuss new business opportunities and facilitate a fruitful exchange of information among the participants. We strongly encourage your participation as the convention is the perfect venue for us to share experiences and best practices in banking. This event shall contribute significantly to our common goal of spearheading growth in the countryside. In the interest of an orderly Convention, please accomplish the following forms and submit to RBAP Secretariat via rbapevents@gmail.com or fax (02) on or before the indicated deadline. DEADLINE: 1. List of Recommended Hotels (Annex D) I. REGISTRATION FEES (All rates are VAT inclusive): a) Member banks in Good Standing and will deposit payment on or before 5:00 PM of April 19, 2017 (Wednesday) can avail of the following Early Bird rates: i. First (Voting) delegate (1 per bank) will pay Five Thousand Pesos (P 5,000.00) ; ii. Second (Non-voting) and succeeding delegates will pay Five Thousand Pesos (P 5,000.00) ; iii. Group rate per bank 10+1 (10 registrants, FREE 1) will pay Fifty Thousand Pesos (P 50,000.00) ;

2 b) Registration fee (Voting/Non-voting) after 5:00 PM of April 19, 2017 (Wednesday) shall be Six Thousand Pesos (P 6,000.00) per delegate ; c) Non-members and delinquent member banks shall be assessed at Nine Thousand Pesos (P 9,000.00) per delegate. 2. THE USUAL MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE EXPENSES PER DELEGATE: a) Each delegate shall be entitled to a maximum per diem per day of Six Thousand Pesos (P6,000.00) for a period not exceeding seven (7) days for the delegates coming from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao ; b) Actual transportation expenses from the rural bank to the convention venue and return; c) Maximum representation allowance of Seven Thousand Pesos (P7, ) per delegate. 3. CONVENTION PAYMENTS: a) Please cross all checks payable to Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines and deposit payment through LBP C/A Intramuros Branch. Kindly send the deposit slip through fax at (02) or (02) or at rbapevents@gmail.com. Write 2017 convention registration and indicate the name of the rural bank in the deposit slip for proper identification. 4. CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY: All requests for cancellation of registration or substitution of participants must be submitted IN WRITING to the RBAP Secretariat. The following rules shall apply: a) Notice of cancellation made not later than May 5, 2017 (Friday) is subject to full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made after this date is subject to a refund equivalent to 50% of the registration fee. b) Participants who fail to show up during the convention, except for illness or a scheduled BSP examination, and who are not able to submit a written notice of cancellation/substitution to the RBAP Secretariat shall be considered as No-Show and the registration fee is non-refundable. c) Registered participants from member banks with a scheduled BSP examination during the convention must also submit a written notice together with a copy of the BSP notice on the schedule of examination. d) All refunds will be processed four (4) weeks after the event. 5. ADVERTISEMENT (SOUVENIR PROGRAM): Member banks that are interested to place an advertisement in the Convention Souvenir Program, kindly send your contract, layout and deposit slip to rbapevents@gmail.com on or before April 28, 2017 (Friday).
