In addition to a complete redesign, Online Banking now boasts new features to help you manage your finances. In March, we relocated our NW Portland branch from the XPO Logistics building to a retail space across from the New Seasons Market at 1535 NW 21st Ave, just one block south of the existing branch. The credit union moved to this location to upgrade technology in the branch and increase visibility to the community. The new branch features electronics including an iphone, Android tablet, and a touch screen TV to help aid members with financial education. The new facility also has a 24/7 ATM and night drop, so you can take care of your finances every hour of the day. The existing ATM in the basement of the XPO Logistics Ad Tech 1 building will remain in service for the convenience of XPO Logistics employees. NEW NW BRANCH

4 CCCU NEWSLETTER WINTER 2016 NEW WEBSITE EARLY 2017! NEW WEBSITE UPDATED DESIGN & FEATURES We understand how important it is to have access to your money. We believe this starts with our technology, so this year we have made it our goal to improve our banking technology across the board. Starting with online banking, we introduced a more user-friendly platform with new features to help you better organize your finances. Similarly, our mobile app got a refreshed design and layout, giving you easy access to your money on-the-go. In an effort to enhance and simplify your experience, we have also been working on a complete overhaul to our website. This has been an excellent opportunity for us to review the content we had available for our members, remove unecessary or redundant sections and add in relevant information. In addition to reorganization of content, the new website will also feature a completely new design, as well as updated loan calculators and a blog so that you can stay up-to-date on financial trends, credit union news, and Portland community events! TIPS LOGGING IN TO ONLINE BANKING The online banking login box location is moving! Previously located at the top of the screen, the online banking box will now be ever-present on the page in a bar at the bottom of the page. CHECK THE HOME PAGE BANNERS Our home page features 4 boxes that will keep you updated with important credit union information! There is also a static rates box, so you can easily find daily updated rates. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS The general frequently asked questions are located on our About page. You will find FAQs for Bill pay, Online Banking, & Mobile Deposit on the Account Access page, located under the Personal tab. Through Visa alerts, you can be notified via text message whenever unusual activity occurs on your account. Simply log into Online Banking and go to the Visa Account Access tab in the left-hand menu, and then select your credit card. Once at the Visa home screen, click the Communications drop-down menu and select Member Alerts. There, you can customize your account alerts and never miss suspicious activity on your credit card! 8 CCCU NEWSLETTER SUMMER 2016 NEW MOBILE APP DESIGN To accompany our new Online Banking platform, we have updated our mobile app to reflect the same look and feel. The new app is compatible with Apple, Android, and Samsung phones. Available now at your mobile application store! NEW EMV DEBIT CARDS WITH CHIP TECHNOLOGY Over the next several months, we will be issuing new chip cards to our members! Your new chip card will include the latest chip technology that provides an added layer of security, giving you greater protection against fraud. These cards also make traveling easier and more convenient with their world-wide acceptance. Your card will continue to have the traditional magnetic strip on the back, enabling you to use it at merchants without chip-enabled terminals. MOBILE PAY APPLE, SAMSUNG, ANDROID Don t worry about accidentally leaving your wallet at home - you will soon be able to use Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay on your smartphone for your convenience! 9 MORE TIPS & TRICKS AVAILABLE IN ONLINE BANKING! ONLINE BANKING TIPS & TRICKS RENAMING ACCOUNTS You may rename your deposit and loan accounts in online banking to keep your accounts organized and easy to identify. Under the Accounts drop down menu, select the overview tab (this screen automatically opens when you log into Online Banking). Click on the account you would like to change. Once the information for that account has dropped down, you can select the pencil icon next to the name of your account and rename the account. (Note: This is only for online banking purposes and will not show that way on statements). TRANSACTION HISTORY Under the Accounts drop down menu, select the History tab. From this screen, you can choose which account you would like to search transactions for by selecting an account from the drop down at the top left of the screen. Once you have chosen the account, you can search for specific transactions in the transaction history search box, located directly under Transaction history. This search box picks up on keywords, so you can type any word related to your transaction and it will instantly show the results. GUEST ACCESS/ SUB-USER SETUP You now have the ability to give access to someone who isn t on your account and you can specify what you want to give them access to. To add an individual to your account and specify what areas they have access to, simply go to the Family and Friends drop down in the left-hand menu and select the Add a user tab. On the Give account permission screen, you can add user information and customize their access. An will be sent to the user so they can accept your invitation to access your accounts.
