2 Exciting News!! On June 30, 2017, immediately after we close the doors, through Monday morning July 3, our teams will be working to upgrade our data system. We have outgrown the capabilities of our current data system and this transition will enable us to better meet the needs of our members for years to come. This has been an exciting project and we are thrilled with its new capabilities. Here is a quick glance of what we will be able to do: Offer more innovative and flexible products and services to meet your needs Process your transactions more quickly and efficiently Better respond to your needs While an upgrade of this proportion is a major undertaking, we want to make the transition as simple and smooth as possible for you. While we install the upgrade, many of our systems and services will be off-line and unavailable. We are providing this information in advance to help you plan ahead and minimize any inconvenience. We are confident that you will see the long-term benefits of this upgrade, and we appreciate your patience during this transition. The system downtime will begin after the close of business on Friday, June 30. We anticipate completion by Monday morning, July 3. We hope the enclosed information will help you prepare for the upcoming changes. 3 Please plan ahead! Service Availability During upgrade weekend While our data upgrade is taking place many of our systems and services will be unavailable. Below is the time line that will help you plan ahead to avoid any inconveniences. We will begin the upgrade at the close of business on Friday, June 30 and anticipate completion on Monday morning, July 3. 4 What will NOT change After upgrade weekend While our system is improving to better serve you, our valued members, you ll find comfort in knowing that most of what you enjoy about East Idaho Credit Union will not change. uuaccount Numbers: Your Account Numbers will remain the same. uurates: The current rates on your accounts (deposit and loan accounts) will NOT change as a result of the conversion. uubalances: Your account balances will NOT change as a result of the upgrade unless you make normal transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, or advances. uupayment Dates: Unless we advise you otherwise, the payment due dates on your loans will NOT change. uushare Certificate Maturity Dates: Maturity dates on your share certificate accounts will NOT change. uudirect Deposit: If you have direct deposits, they will NOT change. uuchecks: You CAN continue to use your current personal checks. uudebit Cards: You CAN continue to use your current Debit Cards with your current PIN. uucredit Cards: You CAN continue to use your current Credit Cards. uuebranch and Mobile Banking: Your User Name and Password will remain the same. 5 What WILL change After upgrade weekend uushare Certificate Suffixes: The Suffixes will be changed to be consistent with the new tracking by our processor. The suffixes will now be referred to as ID numbers. uuaccount Nicknames: If you have set up an account nickname in one of our branches, those account nicknames will be converted back to the standard system share type. However, when you log in to ebranch or use the Mobile App, your nicknames will still be there. So remember, when you visit our branch the next time, we will not be able to refer to your nickname account, you may need to be able to supply the share type. uutelephone Teller: Telephone Teller will no longer be available. For access to your account you can get up to date information by logging into your account via ebranch or Mobile App. Or you can call Remote Services at Visit our website, EastIdahoCU.org for hours of operation. uustatements and estatement Availability: Statements will not be available via ebranch for any months prior to the system upgrade. Please refer the Preparedness Checklist for further information. uustatements and estatement Look: Our statements will have a new look both online and print. They have been redesigned to present the information on your accounts and loans in a clearer format. You will also have the opportunity to opt in to receiving all of your notices electronically as well. A Look Ahead What you can expect with our System Upgrade: We are Invested in You. Invested in Community. We will continue to work hard to make sure you recieve the exceptional member experience you deserve every time. * Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC) - This long awaited product will be available shortly after the upgrade which will offer competitive rates and easy funds access. * Online Account Opening - Coming soon after the upgrade! This will enable your friends and family to easily become a member of East Idaho Credit Union with a few simple clicks. * Transaction History - The transaction history via ebranch and on your mobile device will be easier to follow. Invested in you, invested in community.

6 Upgrade Preparedness Checklist Don t forget to do the following: To minimize the impact you may experience, follow these helpful steps: * Make Deposits - Before the close of business on Friday, June 30, Any deposits made over the weekend will not be available until July 3, 2017 or later. ATM and Mobile Deposit functions will not be available over the weekend. * Withdraw Cash - You will be able to withdraw cash at ATMs and get cash back with purchases over the weekend, but plan ahead if you are traveling. a a ATM withdrawls will be limited to $ per day. Credit and Debit Card purchases will be limited to $ per day. * Get Organized - Be sure you maintain awareness of your account balance throughout the weekend of June 30 as our branches will be closed and ebranch/mobile Banking will be unavailable. * Record your Bill Pay payees and payment amount - Having this information available could be very helpful in the event that you need it during the down time. * ebranch/mobile Users - a Our BillPay is not changing. However, if you will need payments made immediately following the system upgrade, please schedule your payments prior to June 30. a TRANSACTION HISTORY: Print or save your transaction history to assist you in keeping track of your balance during the system upgrade and to save for your records. No transaction history will be available for transactions completed prior to June 30. You will receive your monthly statement which will include the transactions that occurred during the month as well as this period. a CHECK IMAGES: Print or save any check images you want to keep for your records. No check images will be available online for checks posted prior to June 30. Images for checks posted after close of business on June 30 through July 2 will be available online as normal after the system upgrade. * estatement Users - a Log into ebranch and save or print copies of your Statements. No prior -- estatements will be available after the system upgrade. If you need a copy of your April, May, or June 2017 statements after the upgrade, we will be happy to give you one at no charge. 7 Frequently Asked Questions Q: When will the system upgrade happen? A: The system upgrade will happen at the close of business on Friday, June 30, 2017 through the morning of Monday, July 3, 2017 Q: Why is East Idaho updating their data system? A: As the credit union continues to grow it is necessary for us to utilize a more robust core processor in order to offer our members more convenient products and services in the future. Q: Will my member / account number change? A: No. Your member / account number will remain the same. Q: Will I have to order new checks? A: No. You do not need to order new checks. The account number on your checks will not change. The East Idaho Credit Union routing and transit number will not change Q: Will my debit or credit card change? A: No. Both debit and credit cards will stay the same but it is important to remember that you will have limited access to your funds via your debit and credit cards during the upgrade. Please refer to the Upgrade Preparedness Checklist for dollar amounts. Q: Will my ebranch online account access change? A: No. There are no changes to your ebranch or Mobile access. Remember that they will not be available during the upgrade weekend. Q: How will my transactions post when the system is down? A: All transactions conducted over this weekend, during the upgrade, will be effective dated July 1, Q: Will there be changes to recurring transfers or ACH transactions? A: Your recurring transfers and ACH transactions will continue as usual before and after the system upgrade. Q: Will my direct deposit post? A: You will continue to receive your direct deposit as you have previously before and after the system upgrade. Q: Is my personal data safe during the conversion? A: Yes, your personal data and account information is safe and secure, as always. Q: Are my funds still safe and secure? A: Yes, your funds remain secure. Your savings is federally insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government by the National Credit Union Administration. Q: If I lose my debit or credit card on one of these days, what do I do? A: You will still be able to report a lost or stolen debit card or credit card. Call Your current card will be cancelled, and you will be issued a new card. Q: I need to do a wire transfer. By what time on Friday do I need to submit the request? A: Per usual, you will need to have any wire transfer request in by 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 30, Wire transfers will then be unavailable until Monday, July 3, Q: If I put something in the Night Deposit box after close of business on Friday, June 30, when will it be processed? A: Any item(s) put into a Night Deposit box after the close of business Friday, June 30, 2017 will be processed Monday, July 3, Q: Will I be able to contact Remote Services? A: Remote Services will be available on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 10AM-5PM to answer any general questions you may have.
