10 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WING IMPLEMENTATION OF CLEAR TAX SOFTWARE FOR GST IN MAJOR CORPORATES Tax Connect is The Regional Partner of Clear Tax ASP (Application Service Provider) Software : The government has created an IT backbone called GSTN, which will require every Company to electronically file between 37 to 61 returns each year for each state it is doing business in. It will require each taxpayer to declare their outward supplies/sales and reconcile this against their inward supplies/purchases within a 4-day window each month. This puts significant burden on companies to enable their vendors/suppliers as part of the upstream supply chain to file their returns accurately and on time, in order to enable itself to take ITC each month and ensure free flow of working capital. The ASP is envisaged to provide convenient methods for interacting with the GST Systems for filing of returns, etc. It also provides a Single Platform to Control GST compliances all over India. The following is a diagrammatic representation of the Secure Eco System in which Clear Tax Works : Head of our IT Team, by Mr Arindam Sengupta who is an MCA, has been the cornerstone of Implementation of GST ASP across various Industries.

He has worked as a Finance Manager in ITC Ltd. and Chief Compliance Officer with IntraSoft Technologies Ltd. Now, he is a Designated Partner of Tax Connect Advisory Services LLP. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Indirect Taxation. He was also an All India Rank holder in CA Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also given presentations to various local industry associations on impact of GST compliances, from the customer (B to B ) perspective. Anindita has experience of handling corporate tax, corporate law and allied regulatory projects. She has specialised knowledge in addressing specific tax issues relating to specific industries such as IT industry, service industry, manufacturing, among other specialized industries, developed through various cases and tax issues raised that is unique to the industry. Anindita has conducted high level tax risk assessment reviews, tax due diligence, corporate tax planning and specific tax reviews. She has assisted various clients in litigation matters before various tax and regulatory authorities. She has advised multinational companies on inbound investment in India and Bangladesh. She has also advised global companies on smooth and tax efficient exit and repatriation strategies from the India and Bangladesh tax perspective. He is well versed in SAP, Oracle, ERP and other IT packages. He is mainly handling the IT related projects across Financial, manufacturing and service organizations. He has been the cornerstone of Implementation of GST ASP across various Industries. Mr. A. N. KHANDUJA Mr A N Khanduja is a retired officer of the Indian Revenue Services and was the Ex-Commissioner of Customs. He has over 40 years of experience in custom, excise and service tax.
