2 Naik Danait & Associates ( the 2irm ) was incorporated in the year 2003, by Mr. Keshav Naik, who was the founder partner of the erstwhile >irm Kuvelkar & N a i k f r o m w h i c h w a s later reconstituted as Kuvelkar Naik & Gandhi till Over the years, the Firm has continuously tried to identify and develop new areas of professional services, to keep abreast the changing business environment. Thus, it has successfully widened its services portfolio and become a "one- stop" shop for varied business sizes primarily in the Service Sector. 4 Mr. Keshav Naik (FCA, B.com): He is the founder partner of the erstwhile >irm Kuvelker Naik & Gandhi from 1967 till 2003 and of the >irm since He has wide experience of over 48 years in professional practice. He has been instrumental in diversifying the service offerings of the >irm and is an expert in Advisory services for Income tax, legal advisory services, DRT matters, FEMA and Company law matters. Ms. Vinita Danait (FCA, B.com, DISA (ICAI)): She is the Managing partner and has played an active part in building the >irm's practice since the inception of the >irm. She has had a consistently brilliant academic record, being a rank holder in the B.com and CA exams. She has recently completed DISA certi>ication course and also the Course on International Taxation conducted by the BCAS. She has had audit experience with two of the Big Four CA >irms during the initial years of her career. She specializes in FEMA/ International Tax consultancy, Internal/Statutory Audit, Process/System reviews/design. Both have jointly authored books on FEMA for when Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 was introduced for the >irst time in place of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, The Book served legal professional and Chartered Accountants as a guide to newly introduced law. 4
