2 308 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, MAY 2, 1997 SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 23/97 The Prescription Drugs Act Section 9 Order in Council 237/97, dated April 22, 1997 (Filed April 23, 1997) 1 These regulations may be cited as The Prescription Drugs Amendment, R.R.S. c.p-23 Reg 3, section 10 amended 2 Clause 10(2)(c) of The Prescription Drugs, 1993 is repealed and the following substituted: (c) a dependent child of a family unit mentioned in subsection 9(2); (c.1) a dependent child who is a member of a family unit mentioned in subsection 9(3). 3(1) Subject to subsection (2), these regulations come into force on May 1, (2) If these regulations are filed with the Registrar of after May 1, 1997, these regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of. SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 26/97 The Fisheries Act (Saskatchewan), 1994 Section 37 Order in Council 240/97, dated April 22, 1997 (Filed April 23, 1997) 1 These regulations may be cited as The Fisheries Amendment, R.R.S. c.f-16.1 Reg 1 amended 2 The Fisheries are amended in the manner set forth in these regulations. Section 2 amended 3 The following clause is added after clause 2(aa): (aa.1) shorelunch means fish consumed on the day it was caught. Section 11 amended 4(1) The following subsection is added after subsection 11(1.1): (1.2) No person shall angle on Lac La Ronge, including Hunter Bay of Lac La Ronge, unless that person holds: (a) a Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licence; and (b) an angling licence, if the person is 16 years of age or older. (2) Subsection 11(3) is amended by adding, a sturgeon licence or a Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licence after angling licence. Section 12 amended 5 Section 12 is amended by adding, a sturgeon licence or a Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licence after angling licence.

4 310 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, MAY 2, 1997 New section 16 6 Section 16 is repealed and the following substituted: Sturgeon and lake trout restriction 16(1) No person who catches and retains a sturgeon pursuant to subsection 11(1.1) or a lake trout from the waters of Lac La Ronge, including Hunter Bay of Lac La Ronge, pursuant to subsection 11(1.2) shall: (a) fail to immediately record the appropriate information respecting that catch on his or her licence; or (b) give the sturgeon or lake trout to any other person. (2) No person shall apply for more than one sturgeon licence or Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licence in any year. Section 20 amended 7 Clause 20(c) is amended by striking out fish with and substituting possess or use. Section 24 amended 8 Clause 24(1)(d) is amended by striking out 300 and substituting 100. Section 25 amended 9 Clause 25(a) is repealed and the following substituted: (a) engage in bow fishing unless that person: (i) uses a fish arrow that is attached to the bow by a line of sufficient strength to retrieve any fish struck by the arrow; and (ii) is more than 100 metres away from a buoyed swimming area or a public dock. Section 68 amended 10 Clause 68(2)(b) is amended: (a) by striking out and after subclause (iv); (b) by adding and after subclause (v); and (c) by adding the following subclause after subclause (v): (vi) the quantity, form and species of fish culled at the processing plant and not purchased. Section 86 amended 11 Subsection 86(2) is amended by adding, sturgeon licence or Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licence after angling licence. Section 87 amended 12 Subsection 87(1) is amended by adding, sturgeon licences or Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licences after angling licences. Section 90 amended 13 Clause 90(1)(f) is amended by adding and as the case may require, a sturgeon licence or a Lac La Ronge angling endorsement licence after an angling licence. Section 91 amended 14 Section 91 is amended by adding or buy or attempt to buy after possess.

10 316 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, MAY 2, 1997 SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 28/97 The Highway Traffic Act Section 108 Order in Council 242/97, dated April 22, 1997 (Filed April 23, 1997) 1 These regulations may be cited as The Vehicle Classification and Registration Amendment, R.R.S. c.h-3.1 Reg 3, new section 15 2 Section 15 of The Vehicle Classification and Registration is repealed and the following substituted: Class L 15(1) A class of vehicles to be called Class L is established consisting of vehicles that are: (a) registered pursuant to section 30 of The Vehicle Administration Act; (b) owned by a dealer or consigned to a dealer through a written agreement; and (c) available for sale by that dealer. (2) A vehicle registered in Class L may be used for the following purposes: (a) subject to the weight restriction mentioned in subclause (b)(iii), as a personal conveyance; (b) for the transportation of: (i) passengers without compensation; (ii) recreational equipment without compensation where that transportation is not in the course of any employment or business undertaking; (iii) goods other than those mentioned in subclause (ii) that are owned by any person driving the vehicle pursuant to subsection (3), where the weight of the goods does not exceed 445 kilograms; (iv) special weights or loads, not for delivery to any customer or consignee, when demonstrating the performance of the vehicle, where the vehicle is accompanied by the dealer or any of the dealer s employees and the prospective purchaser; (v) notwithstanding the restrictions imposed by subclauses (b)(ii), (iii) and (iv), vehicles, whether driven, towed, carried or saddlemounted, where a dealer number plate is displayed on each vehicle being driven, towed, carried or saddlemounted.

11 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, MAY 2, (3) A vehicle registered in Class L may be driven by the following: (a) the dealer; (b) the employees of the dealer; (c) the spouse or child of the dealer or the dealer s employee if the spouse or child shares the same residence as the dealer or the employee; (d) a prospective purchaser for the purposes of demonstration for a period not exceeding seven days, but if the period exceeds 48 hours, written approval from the dealer must be carried in the vehicle and is to include: (i) the name and address of the dealer and of the customer; (ii) the vehicle s year, make and vehicle identification number; and (iii) the start and end date of the demonstration; (e) a representative of a vehicle manufacturer when the registered owner of the Class L registration is in the business of offering that manufacturer s vehicles for sale as new vehicles; (f) subject to clauses (4)(b) and (c), any other person not mentioned in this subsection who is designated by the dealer or one of his or her employees, but only for up to 48 hours. (4) No dealer shall authorize the use of a dealer plate: (a) by a customer on a vehicle after an agreement is signed for its sale or lease; (b) on a vehicle that is dedicated for use as a replacement unit offered to individuals whose vehicles are being repaired or serviced by the dealership; (c) in order to help facilitate the movement of passengers as part of a special event, unless it is driven by the dealer or one of the dealer s employees; or (d) outside Saskatchewan for a period exceeding 60 days. (5) No dealer shall accept compensation for the use of a vehicle while displaying a dealer plate owned by the dealer. 3 These regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of.
