3 THE SASKATCHEWAN THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER GAZETTE, 4, 2015 JANUARY 18, THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, 2015 REVISED REGULATIONS OF SASKATCHEWAN 1087 SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 101/2015 The Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Act, 1999 Section 26 Commission Order, dated November 20, 2015 (Filed November 24, 2015) Title 1 These regulations may be cited as The Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (Miscellaneous) Amendment Regulations, R.R.S. c.a-22.2 Reg 4 amended 2 The Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission Regulations are amended in the manner set forth in these regulations. Section 3 amended 3 Section 3 is amended: (a) by repealing clause (s) and substituting: (s) glazier ; (b) by adding the following clause after clause (kk): (kk.1) recreation vehicle service technician ; and (c) in clause (oo) by striking out systems and substituting system. New section 66 4 Section 66 is repealed and the following substituted: Glazier trade 66(1) In this section, trade means the trade designated in accordance with Part II as glazier trade and includes: (a) the cutting, preparing, fabricating, glazing, setting, attaching, installing and removing of all types of glass and glass-substitute materials and fixtures; (b) the fitting, fabricating, installing and attachment of curtain walls, architectural metals and related substitute products in all types of buildings and other structures; and (c) the replacing of glass in motor vehicles. (2) This section applies to employers, tradespersons, journeypersons, apprentices and any other person in the trade. (3) No person is eligible to enter into an apprenticeship program in the trade unless that person has the educational qualifications, skills and aptitude that are required to complete the apprenticeship program successfully in the opinion of the commission. (4) The term of apprenticeship in the trade consists of four apprenticeship years.
4 1088 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, 2015 (5) Each apprenticeship year in the trade requires a total of 1,800 hours of training that: (a) includes on-the-job training; and (b) may include technical training. New section 72 5 Section 72 is repealed and the following substituted: Insulator (heat and frost) trade 72(1) In this section, trade means the trade designated in accordance with Part II as insulator (heat and frost) trade and includes the preparation, fabrication, alteration, application, erection, assembling, moulding, spraying, pouring, mixing, hanging, adjusting, repairing, dismantling, removing, containing, reconditioning, maintaining, finishing and weatherproofing of thermal insulation and related materials on pipes, pipe fittings, valves, boilers, ducts, flues, tanks, vats, refrigeration piping and equipment, fire-stops, and other equipment. (2) This section applies to employers, tradespersons, journeypersons, apprentices and any other person in the trade. (3) No person is eligible to enter into an apprenticeship program in the trade unless that person has the educational qualifications, skills and aptitude that are required to complete the apprenticeship program successfully in the opinion of the commission. (4) The term of apprenticeship in the trade consists of four apprenticeship years. (5) Each apprenticeship year in the trade requires a total of 1,600 hours of training that: (a) includes on-the-job training; and (b) may include technical training. (6) An employer who is a journeyperson in the trade working in Saskatchewan is considered to be an employed journeyperson for the purpose of computing the number of apprentices that the employer may employ. (7) To be eligible to write the journeyperson trade examination in the trade, a tradesperson must: (a) verify in accordance with sections 31 and 32 that he or she has worked in the trade 1.5 times the term of apprenticeship; and (b) after complying with clause (a), successfully complete an insulator (heat and frost) upgrading course recognized by the trade board.
5 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, New section The following section is added after section 84: Recreation vehicle service technician trade 84.1(1) In this section, trade means the trade designated in accordance with Part II as recreation vehicle service technician trade, and includes the inspection, diagnosing, repairing, servicing, replacing and overhauling of all systems and components of recreation vehicles, including exterior and interior components, electrical components, plumbing, propane gas components, appliances, structural frames and towing systems on motor homes, travel trailers, van conversions and licensed towables. (2) This section applies to employers, tradespersons, journeypersons, apprentices and any other person in the trade. (3) No person is eligible to enter into an apprenticeship program in the trade unless that person has the educational qualifications, skills and aptitude that are required to complete the apprenticeship program successfully in the opinion of the commission. (4) The term of apprenticeship in the trade consists of three apprenticeship years. (5) Each apprenticeship year in the trade requires a total of 1,600 hours of training that: (a) includes on-the-job training; and (b) may include technical training. New section 88 7 Section 88 is repealed and the following substituted: Sprinkler system installer trade 88(1) In this section, trade means the trade designated in accordance with Part II as sprinkler system installer trade and includes the assembling, installing, testing, repairing, modifying, overhauling and maintaining of fixed fire suppression systems. (2) This section applies to employers, tradespersons, journeypersons, apprentices and any other person in the trade. (3) No person is eligible to enter into an apprenticeship program in the trade unless that person has educational qualifications, skills and aptitude that are required to complete the apprenticeship program successfully in the opinion of the commission. (4) The term of apprenticeship in the trade consists of four apprenticeship years. (5) Each apprenticeship year in the trade requires a total of 1,800 hours of training that: (a) includes on-the-job training; and (b) may include technical training. Coming into force 8 These regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
6 1090 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, 2015 SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 102/2015 The Saskatchewan Insurance Act Section 467 Order in Council 560/2015, dated November 25, 2015 (Filed November 25, 2015) Title 1 These regulations may be cited as The Saskatchewan Insurance Amendment Regulations, R.R.S. c.s-26 Reg 8, new section The following section is added after section 10 of The Saskatchewan Insurance Regulations, 2003: Exemption re Mennonite Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Saskatchewan 10.1(1) In this section, company means Mennonite Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Saskatchewan. (2) Subject to subsection (3), subsection 81(5) of the Act does not apply to the company. (3) As a condition of being exempted from complying with subsection 81(5) of the Act, the company shall limit its investment in real property for its own use and benefit to 10% of its total assets. Coming into force 3 These regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
7 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 104/2015 The Securities Act, 1988 Section 154 Commission Order, dated November 10, 2015 and Minister s Order, dated November 26, 2015 (Filed November 27, 2015) Title 1 These regulations may be cited as The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments, Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc.) Amendment Regulations, R.R.S. c.s-42.2 Reg 3 amended 2 The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments) Regulations are amended in the manner set forth in these regulations. Section 1.1 of Part V of Appendix amended 3 Section 1.1 of Part V of the Appendix is amended: (a) by adding the following definition in alphabetical order: Aequitas personal information form means a personal information form for an individual prepared pursuant to Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc. Form 3, as amended from time to time ; and (b) in the definition of personal information form : (i) by striking out or after paragraph (a); (ii) by adding or after paragraph (b); and (iii) by adding the following paragraph after paragraph (b): (c) a completed Aequitas personal information form submitted by an individual to Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., to which is attached a completed certificate and consent in the form set out in Schedule 1 - Part B of Appendix A to National Instrument General Prospectus Requirements. Part XII of Appendix amended 4(1) Part XII of the Appendix is amended in the manner set forth in this section. (2) Section 1.1 is amended: (a) by adding the following definition in alphabetical order: Aequitas personal information form means a personal information form for an individual prepared pursuant to Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc. Form 3, as amended from time to time ; (b) in paragraph (c) of the definition of IPO venture issuer by adding the following subparagraph after subparagraph (i): (i.1) Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc. ; and
8 1092 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, 2015 (c) in the definition of personal information form : (i) by striking out or after paragraph (a); (ii) by adding or after paragraph (b); and (iii) by adding the following paragraph after paragraph (b): (c) a completed Aequitas personal information form submitted by an individual to Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., to which is attached a completed certificate and consent in the form set out in Schedule 1 - Part B of Appendix A. (3) Form F1 is amended: (a) in the statement required in subsection (4) of section 1.9 by adding Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., after on the Toronto Stock Exchange, ; and (b) in the statement required in section by adding Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., after on the Toronto Stock Exchange,. Section 1.1 of Part XIII of Appendix amended 5 Section 1.1 of Part XIII of the Appendix is amended by repealing the definition of short form eligible exchange and substituting the following: short form eligible exchange means each of the Toronto Stock Exchange, Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the TSX Venture Exchange, Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., and the Canadian Securities Exchange. Section 1.1 of Part XXXIV of Appendix amended 6 Section 1.1 of Part XXXIV of the Appendix is amended in the definition of venture issuer by adding Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., after Toronto Stock Exchange,. Section 1.1 of Part XXXV of Appendix amended 7 Section 1.1 of Part XXXV of the Appendix is amended in the definition of venture issuer by adding Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., after Toronto Stock Exchange,. Section 1.1 of Part XXXVI of Appendix amended 8 Section 1.1 of Part XXXVI of the Appendix is amended in the definition of venture issuer by adding Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., after Toronto Stock Exchange,. Part XXXVIII of Appendix amended 9(1) Part XXXVIII of the Appendix is amended in the manner set forth in this section. (2) Section 1.1 is amended by repealing the definition of marketplace and substituting the following: marketplace has the same meaning as in National Instrument Marketplace Operation.
9 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, DECEMBER 4, (3) Paragraph 4.7(2)(a) is amended by adding, Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., the Canadian Securities Exchange after on the TSX. (4) Paragraph 5.8(2)(a) is amended by adding, Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., the Canadian Securities Exchange after on the TSX. Part XLI of Appendix amended 10(1) Part XLI of the Appendix is amended in the manner set forth in this section. (2) Section 1.1 is amended in the definition of venture issuer by adding Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc., after Toronto Stock Exchange,. (3) Section 1.3 is amended by repealing paragraph (c) and substituting the following: (c) an exchangeable security issuer or credit support issuer that is exempt under sections 13.3 and 13.4 of NI , as applicable. Section 2.22 of Part XLIII of Appendix amended 11 Section 2.22 of Part XLIII of the Appendix is amended in paragraph (a) of the definition of listed issuer by adding the following subparagraph after subparagraph (ii): (ii.1) Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc.. Section 1 of Part LII of Appendix amended 12 Section 1 of Part LII of the Appendix is amended in paragraph (b) of the definition of OTC issuer by adding the following subparagraph after subparagraph (vii): (viii) Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc.. Coming into force 13(1) Subject to subsection (2), these regulations come into force on November 17, (2) If these regulations are filed with the Registrar of Regulations after November 17, 2015, these regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
