Amy Kimberly presented a Carbondale Creative District (CCD) update to the TCC. The CCD is celebrating its first birthday in June. She mentioned that Carbondale was featured on 9News last night! Amy discussed the importance of alignment with the TCC and the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce (CCC). There is an opportunity through the Creative Industries to have a facilitated retreat this fall with the CCD, TCC, and CCC.

2 The CCD will also have access to data collection and photography. Amy shared examples of collaboration, including the recent Aspen Magazine Summer Guide spread. The alignment with the TCC and the CCD in regards to the CTO matching grant is a great opportunity for collaboration, and the CCD is open to assisting with that application process. Amy is hoping as we move forward the synergy and communication can continue to improve and grow from the early planning stages, and marketing and branding in the big scheme of things. Content, photography, co-branding, and more were all opportunities discussed. Amy urged the businesses to utilize the CCD brand and the logo, and it is not owned by one entity, rather Carbondale as a whole! The more the brand is used, the word will spread, and more people will be educated about the CCD. Amy mentioned that the Rio Grande Artway is underway! 2.
