3 Nelson Lara dos Reis (OAB / RJ ) - Partner With a Master s degree in Law from the University of Dundee / Scotland, Mr. Lara dos Reis is a member of the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers (IAB). His experience is focused on corporate and taxation law, with an emphasis on the negotiation and drafting of national and international contracts, particularly those in connection with transactions relating to mining and the environment. He has published two books on mining in Brazil and as a former member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Energy & Natural Resources Law, he has written numerous articles on mining and Environmental Law. Carlos Jorge Sampaio Costa (OAB / RJ n º ) - of counsel A Harvard University Fellow in the USA, Mr. Sampaio Costa holds a master degree in Business Law from PUC-Rio. His expertise lies in Taxation, International, Administrative, and Corporate Law, particularly in drafting and negotiating international contracts in Latin America and the Caribbean. An active member of the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers (IAB), he published the book Code of Conduct for Transnational Corporations, and several opinion essays and articles in books and law journals. Maria Teresa Cárcomo Lobo (OAB / RJ 99339) - of counsel Ms. Cárcamo Lobo holds a Master s degree in Law from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. She worked in finance in Europe and Africa, and in cases under the jurisdiction of the Brazilian Federal Courts. She is the chairperson of the Permanent Commission of Integration Law of the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers (IAB), and author of several law books, including European Union.
