2 Record the ticker symbols of the three biggest % price loser s on each of the three major exchanges Stock 1 Stock 2 Stock 3 Use the Get Quotes box at the top of the home page. Enter the ticker symbol of a company you would like to research. This could be a company you have already bought for your stock market game or one you are thinking of investing in. Click on Get Quote then answer the following question: Company Name: Ticker Symbol You can tell which of the three major indices the stock is traded on by looking at the top of the page. 3 Remember that Beta means how volatile (or changeable) a stock is when compared to the stock market as a whole. A number close to 1 means that a stock will change prices about the same as does the stock market as a whole. A higher number means that a stock will go up higher than the stock market when the stock market is rising, and will go down lower than the stock market when the stock market is falling.
