Five Hunderd + GST as applicable only) as Tender Fee towards the cost of Tender Document and Rs.13, (Rs. Thirteen Thousand only) as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) online through RTGS in respect of Account Number: , IFS Code: PUNB , Bank Name: Punjab National Bank payable at Sultanpur (U.P.), in favor of Director, Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur (U.P.). The copies of Bid Fee and EMD must reach to the Institute well before the opening of technical bids. Tender documents submitted without the cost of tender documents and the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is liable to be rejected. The Tender Fee is non refundable. The EMD will not carry any interest. EMD of unsuccessful Bidders will be refunded after finalization of the bid. EMD of successful Bidders will be kept as security deposit and will be refunded after successful supply and installation of above items.

3 The firms/agencies are also required to submit their financial status/report for the past three consecutive years. The technical bids will be opened on at 1400 hrs in the presence of the representative/s of the bidders, who wish to be present, in the Academic Building of the Institute. The date for declaration of result of the financial bid will be declared on the Institute website only. The tenders not confirming to the requirements mentioned above and as laid down in the terms and conditions or not accompanied by earnest money are liable to be rejected summarily. All pages of the tender should be signed by the bidder with seal. The technical and financial bids shall be duly filled. The writing should be clear and legible. Where figures are furnished, the same are to be written in words also within brackets. All columns in the tender documents should be filled up. Attach Separate sheets wherever necessary. First the technical bid will in opened and evaluated. The financial bid of only those firms will be opened which qualify in the technical bid. 4 TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. This document states the complete information of date of submission & opening of tenders, eligibility of bidders, period allowed for the work etc. 2. The bidders shall be deemed to have studied the items, specifications and details of the supplies to be made within the time schedule attached and to have acquainted himself / themselves with the conditions attached. The bidders / their representatives are permitted to be present at the time of the opening of the tenders. 3. The bidder shall quote rates exclusive of all taxes. Taxes as applicable which are fixed at the time by the Central/State Government. The rates have to be for Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur (place/s to be mentioned in work order). Incomplete / Conditional tenders are liable to be summarily rejected. However, the undersigned reserves the right to decide on such a matter in the interest of the Institute, if felt necessary. 4. The rates quoted by the bidders shall hold good and be valid up to one year from the date of finalization of the tender. No amendment in the rate except change in the rates of GST during the period of execution of the contract will be accepted. 5. There should not be any overwriting or corrections in the tender. If the figure is required to be amended, it should be neatly scored out, the revised figure written and the same attested with signature and date. 6. If the supplier fails to install Stainless Steel Water Tank with Chiller and Sink Tray within the time stipulated in the contract, the undersigned will be at liberty to cancel the order and procure the materials from other sources and the EMD amount shall stand forfeited. 7. It would not be binding upon the authority to accept the lowest tender. The authority reserves the right to accept the tender in whole or in part, as may be decided. Final decision in this regard will be taken by Director, KNIT Sultanpur and will be acceptable to all. 8. Earnest Money Deposit: (a) The EMD of Rs. 13,000/- (Rs. Thirteen Thousand only), will be deposited by the bidder online through RTGS in respect of Account Number: , IFS Code: PUNB , Bank Name: Punjab National Bank payable at Sultanpur (U.P.), in favor of Director, Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur (U.P.). The copies of Bid Fee and EMD must reach to the Institute well before the opening of

5 technical bids. In the event of acceptance of tender, the amount of EMD may be adjusted against security deposit. The tenders without enclosing EMD will be rejected summarily. (b) The EMD of those firms who do not qualify will be refunded. (c) Performance Security Deposit: The successful bidders will have to deposit the performance security at the rate of 10% of estimated value within a week time from the date of award of contract and the same shall be returned 30 days after the date of successful completion of contract. However, the EMD amounts will be adjusted against the security deposits. If the accepted bidder fails to remit the performance security within prescribed time, the EMD remitted by him will be forfeited and his bid may be held void. The performance security will be released only after the successful completion and final payment of the job. 9. Prior to the acceptance of the bid, the undersigned reserves the right to call for samples or demonstrations, and the contractor shall be liable to supply the samples or give the demonstration free of cost. 10. False Information: In the event of furnishing false / incorrect information by the bidder, the EMD in respect of such bidder shall be forfeited. Further during the performance of the contract if it is detected that the contract has been obtained by furnishing false / incorrect information in the tender, the agreement is liable to be terminated and performance security and other payments due to the bidder shall be forfeited without prejudice to the bidder and the bidder is liable to be blacklisted accordingly. 11. Subletting of Contract: The successful bidder shall not be allowed to sublet/subcontract the supply of items/work mentioned in the contract to any other contractor. 12. Firm awarded contract for installation of Stainless Steel Water Storage Tank, Chiller and Sink Tray will have to render maintenance service for one year free of cost from the date of installation. 13. Eligibility Criteria: Age of Firm: Minimum 3 years. Individual Work Order: Similar experience of supply and installation of Stainless Steel Water Storage Tank, Water Chiller and Sink Tray to Corporate Offices/Institutions/Central Autonomous Body/Central Public Sector Undertaking etc. Enclose copy of work order of last three financial years. PAN CARD GST Registration Financial status/report for the past three consecutive years. Income Tax return for past three consecutive years.

6 14. If a bidder withdraws its offer after opening of technical bid or financial bid before award of tender to other valid bidder, the earnest money deposited by them will be forfeited. 15. The Institute has the right to change the quantity of the item in the purchase order as per actual requirement which may vary depending upon various factors/requirement. 16. Award of Contract:- A. The contract shall be awarded to the bidder whose bid has been determined to be substantially responsive as decided by the tender finalizing committee nominated by the Director of the Institute. B. The bidder whose bid is accepted will be notified for the award of contract prior to expiration of the quotation validity period. C. Payment will be made within 30 days after the successful installation of items and their acceptance on receipt of bills in duplicate. D. Notwithstanding the above, the Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any quotations and to cancel the bidding process and reject all quotations at any time prior to the award of contract. 8 2. Stainless Steel Water Chiller: Description: The Chiller unit is to be used for cooling water from an R.O. Plant hence the chiller tank should be free from any type of leakage. The chiller should be able to cool 500 Lit. of water at 30 o C ambient temperature to 10 o C with in 2-3 hrs. The chiller is to be installed at existing RO Plants. The chiller unit shall comprise of a refrigeration unit and an insulated stainless steel storage tank of 500 liter capacity. The top of the tank should be an insulated air tight lid made from stainless steel which can be opened as and when required.
