The tenderer may inspect the Wood to be auctioned on any working day w.e.f to between am to 3.30 pm. with the permission of the Farm Incharge/nominated officer by the concerned Incharge. 2. The tender form can be obtained from the Office of Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera, Lucknow on any working day w. e. f to during working hours upto 4.00 pm on payment of Rs (Five hundred only) in cash or through Demand draft drawn in favour of ICAR Unit - CISH Lucknow being the cost of tender form. 3. (i) The Earnest money for the Wood of Rehmankhera, which is to be auctioned should be deposited in the form of Crossed Demand Draft/Banker s Cheque for Rs. 50, in favour of ICAR Unit-CISH, Lucknow by the bidder/tenderer in the office of CISH, Block-IInd, Rehmankhera, Lucknow along with the tender form. The bid/ tender will not be considered if the earnest money in the form of Demand draft is NOT DEPOSITED ALONG WITH THE TENDER. No request for transfer of any previous deposit of earnest money will be entertained. The No. and date of demand draft should be indicated in the tender Form. (ii) The tenderer/bidder should sign on the tender form, without which the bid is liable to be rejected. 4. No cash transaction for payment of EMD will be entertained. 5. The Tenderer should furnish his full name and address in the tender form with telephone/mobile Number along with the Identity proof. 6. The auction price quoted in the tender must be for lump sum in respect of the wood proposed to be auctioned and should be mentioned clearly in the enclosed FORM, which is required to be dropped in the tender box placed in the administrative section of this office along with earnest money in a sealed cover. 7. The tender should be submitted in a sealed cover marked Tender for Purchase of Wood The tender will also be accepted by Courier / Registered Post on or before due date i.e upto 4.00 pm. 8. Last date and time for receipt of tender is upto 4.00 PM in the office located at CISH, Rehmankhera, P.O. Kakori, Lucknow The Time and date of opening of tender as mentioned in the tender documents will be on at AM at Block-IInd of CISH Rehmankhera, Lucknow 10. OPENING OF TENDER : The Bidders/tenderers are at liberty to be present or authorize in writing a representative to be present at the time of bid/opening of tender and if required open auction will be held only among the bidders.

MODE OF PAYMENT : 1/3 rd of the bid amount has to be deposited on the spot and rest of the payment of the Bid amount is to be paid by bank draft / cash within 3 days from the date of opening of the tender/ auction by the successful bidder/tenderer, before commencement of harvest. No part payments of the bid will be accepted. If the successful bidder fails to comply with the payments, with in stipulated time, the EMD deposited shall be forefeited. 12. The successful bidder should not sub-lease the tender and in the event of subleasing the tender, the entire amount shall stand forfeited as per rules. 13. The tenderer shall carry the wood only on working days and facilitates the dayto-day record to the Scientist/ Technician of the Institute upon request. The Tenderer will take out the wood only after obtaining gate pass. 14. The tenderer shall have no objection for the officials of this Institute to carry out the research activities/ farm operations of routine nature by this Institute including plant propagation activities. 15. Except the EMD of the successful bidder and the next highest bidder, the EMD of all the unsuccessful bidders received through Demand Draft will be returned immediately to the concerned on the spot after process of bid/ auction is completed. 16. WATCH & WARD : Watch and ward arrangements are required to be made by the successful bidder/ tenderer themselves immediately after the award of bid and due permission of the Institute for the stay in the Institute premises should be obtained from the Chairman(Security) of the Institute and the Institute will not be responsible for the theft and damages. 17. The wood will be carried out by the tenderer under the supervision of Block Incharge by his own labourers during the working days. No child labour should be employed for any of the works involved. 18. The bidders/ tenderer violating any of the above terms and conditions whould stand to forfeit the EMD/ Performance security 10% of the bid amount and the Director, CISH, Lucknow, reserves the right to execute this clause. No complaint would be entertained in this regard. 19. RIGHT OF ACCEPTANCE : The Institute in its absolute right, may accept the highest bid or any tender and reserves the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender or portion of the rate quoted. 23. ARBITRATION : In the event of any dispute in this regard, the right of adjudication shall rest with the Director, ICAR- Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow and the final decision will be binding on all parties.

AGREEMENT & SECURUTY DEPOSIT : The successful bidder/ tenderer should execute an agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs and also deposit 10% of the bid price, as a Performance Security with in 3 days from the date of opening of tender/ auction(refundable) after the completion.
