We hope that through this small compilation, it will come to benefit our users and the community on how our tools can be used extensively. This is a chance for our community to be exposed to various possible uses of FGS and perhaps come together to share their thoughts with us. 4 Newsletter #1 Tips On Using Forex Geometry Price Action Attachment Feature Now onto Forex Geometry. Some of our Forex Geometry users have asked us the features of Forex Geometry and some examples of the uses. We will focus on Price Action Attachment feature this time round, mainly the PA51{x} & PA52 which are the basics of Price Action Attachment. Example of one use of PA51{x}: For PA51{x}, where x is the number of pips when price breaks the trendline which will trigger the trade. One use for it is when you are in a buying scenario and you need to take into consideration of the spread difference. As MT4 price chart uses the BID price, any trendline break entry will be premature as you will observe that even before the price breaks the trendline, your BUY trade will trigger due to the ASK price. Therefore, you will need to use PA51{x} where x can be your spread difference in pips. Tip of wick did not touch trendline but trade entered due to spread (Pre-mature Entry) Figure 1 As you can see from fig 1 that, BUY trade will trigger due to spread which in the case is 2pips for EUR/USD even though you want to see a break of the trendline.

5 Using PA51{x} feature, factoring spread, BUY trade will be triggered just as you want it to be; a clear break of trendline Figure 2 After using the price action attachment feature which is PA51{x}, where you replaced x with 2 to be PA51{2} as in fig 2, you will be able to enter BUY trades at prices where you want a break in the trendline visually.

6 Example of one use of PA52: One use for PA52 could be that you are looking at a triangle chart pattern for a breakout trade but only want confirmation when the candle closes beyond the drawn trendline to look for an entry. Using PA52, as soon as this candle closes to beyond the trendline confirming your criteria for a breakout, a trade will be entered Figure 3 By using PA52 in figure 3, you can trade breakout scenarios if you prefer to have a confirmation of a candle closed beyond the drawn trendline. A trade entry will then be entered automatically. This is useful for traders who want to trade chart patterns such as this triangle chart pattern where you do not know which direction the market will go to and you need further confirmation. 7 Newsletter #2 Tips On Using Forex Geometry Signal Alert Discretionary traders use signal alert to alert them of potential trades when the market hits a certain price level. Upon alert, they will decide if the trade opportunity at that point of time is favourable or to be invalidated. I will show you an example to better understand how FGS might help you in this area. Example of Signal Alert: As you have a pre-drawn trendline on a chart but you do not want to trigger a trade with it yet, you can use the Signal Alert feature to do just that. Trendline contains the Signal Alert GeoLingo Figure 1 Here in figure 1, we have a drawn trendline anticipating a potential break if trade entry conditions are met. The drawn trendline has the signal alert GeoLingo alert and it is on standby to alert upon break.

8 Price breaks trendline, a signal alert is triggered through sound Figure 2 In figure 2, you can see that the price has broken beyond the trendline and alerted the user through sound. But no trade has been triggered as it only provides signal to the trader.

10 This example is for traders who wish to be informed when signals are formed but do not want to execute the trade immediately but want to base on discretionary assessment of the trade potential before deciding whether it is prudent to take it.
