1 BISTECH Platform General Tests with Members Before Go-Live Test Programme 15 August 10 September 2015 Please pass this notice to your managers and relevant IT staff (Notice document can be downloaded from Important notes about the tests : 1) For a successful course of testing, the information covered with the 2015/60 BIST circular, 2015/82 BIST circular, this programe and technical information document that is available on the following link should all together be taken into consideration. 2) Throughout the test period, the market news and help desk announcements section at the ( should continuously be monitored hence general warnings and explanations regarding to the flow of the testing will be announced. Member who does not have the necessary user codes and passwords in order to reach the related page can obtain them during working hours on weekdays from the Customer Relations Service of the Marketing and Sales Department. 3) Rehearsals of migrating to the new platform will begin on the 15th of August, 2015 Saturday morning, with all the related systems opening as if it is a working day. 4) The data of 14th of August, 2015 Friday morning will be used on the systems but the date of the working day will be set as 15th of August, ) Starting from the 15th of August, the tests over systems will be continued as if the new platform is in use, the data created on the test environment will be used to maintain the testing over the proceeding days. 6) After the first week of tests on the 22nd of August 2015, Saturday morning all systems will be up with the opening data of the 21st of August 2015, Friday morning and the tests will go on as explained before. 7) Systems will be closed on Sundays. 8) Members are required not to carry any business from the old systems. All data should be new on the test environment on the T day and should have no relation with another data related to T-1 day. This is important because we want to live the first day of go in-live on Equity Market Department 1/10

2 the new trading platform. Therefore members should not try to clear or amend the trades coming from the previous days on the new platform. 9) Testing on the new platform will begin with the first order entry and the first trades, and these orders and trades will be subject to clearing or amendments over the follwing days. 10) The securities that will be used during the tests will be sent to the members via FIX Reference Data Security Definition message. Alternatively, this information can be achieved at the Instrument Info Window from the Trading Workstations. The market segment in which the security is traded will also be included in this information. The relevant market segments will be renamed according to the new regulation, namely Star Market Main Market Emerging Companies Market Close Watch Market Collective Investment Products and Structured Products Market. 11) In the course of testing in the afternoon some trades executed during the tests will be cancelled and numbers of the cancelled trades will be announced. It s expected that members will follow these cancellations and observe the possible effects. 12) Curcuit breaker is planned to be triggered at AKBNK.E equity. Members are expected to keep track of the session state changes as a result of this circuit break. An automatic notification message will be sent to PDP pertaining to the curcuit breaker triggered halt. The test for applying circuit breaker is planned to take place on Wednesdays between 15:00 and 15:30 hours. 13) Tests for dissemination of PDP messages on TWs will be held on Mondays and Saturdays. PDP messages on TWs will be the messages which will have been sent to PDP on Friday when the market was closed. These messages will be visible on TWs on Saturday as soon as the market is opened. On Monday the test for PDP messages on TWs will be held between 15:00 PM and 15:30 PM. 14) Corporate Action tests will be held on Tuesdays.
