Division General Operating Fund Provide an overview of the income and expenditures in your Division general operating fund. The Divisiondid financiallywell this year, showing a gain (-$155) which was almost twice that of We were successful in I publication costs for the Bulletin for the History of Chemistry close to the income from membership dues. In contrast, there were no speaker expenses in 1999, as we were unable to schedule the Dexter Awal for that year. B. Division Grants and Funded Activities Provide an overview of the Income and expenditures of your Division grants and funded activities. The Division continues to encourage our symposia organizers to request funds for their symposia. In 2 the Futurism Symposi funding from the ACS and the Chemical Heritage Foundation. C. Division Financial Planning Strategy Provide an overview of the activity of your Division assets and your Division long-range financial planning strategy. The Division enters 21 with a positive balance in assets and plans to have a small excess of revenue over expenses in 2. Survey Comments and Suggestions Your comments and suggestions about the Annual Report Forms are earnestly solicited. The comments fields in the Treasurer's Financial Report, Part IV, were too short. Also, I did not see a mechanism for adding lines I had ten awards to report (Part A 1.A), I could not have itemized them as requested as only two lines were available - and they di enough characters to list them even on those two lines. Also, twice now I chose "Save and Submit Later" only to lose what I had already entered. Not something to make me a happy tree
