2 Overview Aveo is progressing its strategy to become Australia s leading pure play retirement village owner and operator This transition to a pure play retirement company is accompanied by a clear set of long term operational and financial returns targets Aveo s existing retirement village portfolio comprises mature villages located in prime metropolitan sites along the east coast of Australia This portfolio is to be expanded further via increased development rates at existing brownfield sites and new greenfield sites Provision of additional care and other services to village residents will enhance residents ability to age in place and increase the attractiveness of the overall offering that is made to Aveo s customers 2

9 Care and Support Services Care Services Delivered on target of low care services provided to 90% of villages owned by Aveo by end of FY14 Announced in-home care and support service alliance with RDNS for 22 villages across Australia In-home care trials with two other major providers are nearing completion at other villages in the portfolio In the process of finalising contractual arrangements with these providers Implementing plans to improve the control of food and nutrition delivery A respite bed care offering has been set up in the majority of serviced apartment buildings Care Partners 9
