The Roof Coating Manufacturers Association (RCMA) was formed in 1983 to help promote a positive image and provide for the welfare of the cold-applied roof coatings industry. Today, RCMA services 26 manufacturing and 28 supplier members representing a majority of the cold-applied roofing coatings industry as well as affiliate and contributory members. The coatings described in this membership category should include both bituminous and non-bituminous-based products. Regular Member Annual Dues Regular member dues are comprised of two components: one for bituminous-based product manufacture and/or distribution, and the other for non-bituminous-based product manufacture and or distribution. Dues in the nonbituminous component qualifies the member to participate as a member in the White Coatings Council. Determination of Regular Member Dues Since dues are based upon the volume of product shipped, it is necessary for RCMA to obtain specific information in order to determine the appropriate dues for a member. To facilitate this and to guarantee confidentiality, RCMA engages an outside fiduciary, Association Research Inc. (ARI), to receive the shipment information and determine the appropriate dues level. That is the only information that RCMA receives and a company's dues amount is not shared with any other members. (continued)

3 Shortly after mailing in this application you will receive information from ARI regarding the determination of your dues. You can determine your approximate dues level through the following tables. An example of a dues calculation for XYZ company follows below: Regular Member Dues = Bituminous Component + Non-Bituminous Component Bituminous Roof Coatings and Cements Dues Formula: Category A- Under 1 Million Gallons Category B - 1 Million - 2 Million Gallons Category C - 2 Million - 10 Million Gallons Category D - Over 10 Million Gallons $3,600 base plus $150 per 100,000 gallons up to 1 Million Gallons. Category A is to be capped at $4,500 $4,500 base plus $150 per 100,000 gallons over 1 Million Gallons $6,000 base plus $150 per 100,000 gallons over 2 Million Gallons $12,000 base plus $150 per 100,000 gallons over 10 Million Gallons with a cap of $25,000** Non-Bituminous Roof Coatings (White Coatings Division) Dues Formula: Category AA - Under 100,000 gallons of elastomeric coatings used for roofing and waterproofing Category BB - Between 100,000 gallons and 500,000 gallons of elastomeric coatings used for roofing and waterproofing Category CC - Over 500,000 gallons of elastomeric coatings used for roofing and waterproofing $1,500 Flat Fee $3,000 Flat Fee $4,500 Flat Fee Example: XYZ Company manufactures both bituminous and non-bituminous products. For 2001, the volume of XYZ s bituminous gallons was 300,000 and non-bituminous was 90,000.
