1 1. Building Permit EXHIBIT A CITY OF OLDSMAR PERMIT, INSPECTION AND PLANS EXAMINATION FEE SCHEDULE a. This fee schedule is applicable to all building permits issued by the City of Oldsmar, Building Division for the construction of new buildings or structures or the addition or alteration of existing buildings or structures and where no other miscellaneous permit fee is provided in paragraph 2. Additional permit fees may be assessed for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Gas, and Site Work that is included on the permit application. b. The fee schedule is based on the valuation of the building or structure to be constructed or the value of the alterations or improvements proposed for existing buildings or structures. c. Total Valuation for the purpose of permitting will be based on the contract value of the project submitted by the applicant and approved by the City. The International Code Council's most recent Building Valuation Data table or other recognized valuation process may be used if no contract amount is submitted with the permit application or where the submitted value is disputed. d. Included in this category are Roof Replacements both Residential and Commercial, Fireplace Installation, Siding, Soffit, Fascia & Gutter Installation, Accessory Structures, Screen Enclosures, Patios & Decks, Garages & Carports, and Non Residential Concrete & Asphalt Slabs, Driveways and Sidewalks. Total Valuation Fee $0 to $1,000 $40.00 minimum fee when a permit is required $1,001 to $50,000 $40.00 for the first $1,000 valuation plus $4.00 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof up to and including $50,000 $50,001 to $100,000 $ for the first $50,001 valuation plus $3.50 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof up to and including $100,000. $100,001 to $500,000 $ for the first $100,001 valuation plus $3.00 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof up to and including $500,000 $500,001 to $1,000,000 $1, for the first $500,001 valuation plus $2.50 for each additional $1000 or fraction thereof up to and including $1,000,000 $1,000,001 and up $2, for the first $1,000,001 valuation plus $2.00 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof

Building or House Relocation: (Trade Permits also required) $75.00 c. Concrete Slabs, Driveways, and Sidewalks, Residential: $50.00 d. Construction & Sales Trailer Placement: (Trade Permits also $50.00 required) e. Demolition, Residential: $50.00 f. Demolition, Non-Residential: $ g. Docks:(Separate Electrical Permit Required) $40.00 plus $0.30/SF h. Fences: $30.00 plus $0.10/LF i. Mobile Home Placement: (includes slab) $ j. Satellite Dish & Antenna: $40.00 k. Seawalls: $40.00 plus $0.30/LF l. Signs: (Separate Electrical Permit Required) 1. Pole or Monument Sign: (Permanent) $40.00 plus $0.30/SF 2. Building or Wall Sign: (Permanent) $40.00 plus $0.20/SF 3. Temporary Sign: (Signs and Banners requiring permits) $35.00 plus $0.20/SF m. Swimming Pools (Separate Electrical Permit Required) 1. Above Ground: $ Below Ground: $ Spa: $ n. Tank Placement or Removal, UST: $50.00 o. Tents: (Business or For Profit use) $ Special Trade Permits: Special Trade Permits will be obtained for the specific activity outlined below and will be in addition to any Building or Site Plan Permits that may be required for the project. See individual permit application for fees: a. Electrical Fee i. Base Fee, Residential and Commercial: $50.00 ii. Residential, New or Addition: Base Fee plus $15.00 per room
3 iii. Residential, Alteration or Remodel: Base Fee plus $2.50 per fixture or outlet iv. Residential, Service Upgrade: $50.00 v. Commercial, New, Addition or Service Upgrade: Base Fee plus $1.00 per Amp vi. Commercial, Alteration or Remodel: Base Fee plus Amp upgrade plus $3.00 per fixture or outlet vii. Swimming Pools: $50.00 viii. Signs: $40.00 ix. Temporary Power Pole: $50.00 x. Fire Alarm Commercial: Permit Fee is based on Total Value of project outlined above in Building Permits xi. Security Alarm Commercial: Permit Fee is based on Total Value of project outlined above in Building Permits b. Mechanical Fee i. Base Fee, Residential and Commercial: $50.00 ii. Residential, New: (per dwelling unit) Base Fee plus $5.00 for each additional $1,000 or fraction over $1,000 iii. Residential AC Unit Replacement: $50.00 iv. Commercial, New or Replacement: Permit Fee is based on Total Value of project outlined above in Building Permits c. Plumbing Fee i. Base Fee: $50.00 ii. Residential, New or Alteration: Base Fee plus $5.00 per iii. Commercial, New or Alteration: (In addition to the traditional plumbing or gas fixtures- water heater, roof drains, hose bibs, and grease traps, each count as one fixture) fixture Base Fee plus $25.00 per fixture iv. Irrigation System: $35.00 per each connection to the City s Water or Reclaimed System v. Water Heater or Water Conditioner, including solar $75.00 vi. Water Service Line Replacement: $40.00 vii. Sewer Service Line Replacement $40.00
4 d. Fire Suppression: Permit Fee is based on the Total Value of project outlined above in Building Permits 4. Site Plan Permits: a. Clearing, Grubbing and Fill: $50.00 per acre or fraction of an acre b. Tree Removal Application: $10.00 per tree c. Landscape, Residential: $35.00 per dwelling unit d. Landscaping, Commercial: $50.00 per acre or fraction of an acre e. On Site Infrastructure, Water, Sewer, Reclaimed Water, and Storm water for Development: $ per acre or fraction of an acre 5. Plan Review Fees: a. Review, Residential Base Fee $ $0 to $1,000 $ $1,001 and over Base Fee plus $1.00 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof over $1,000 b. Revised Plan Review, Residential: (After Permit Base Fee or 50% of Original Plan has been issued for permit changes over $1,000) Review Fee, whichever is larger c. Plan Review, Commercial Base Fee $ $0 to $1,000 $ $1,001 to $50,000 Base Fee plus $2.50 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof over $1, $50,001 to $100,000 $ plus $3.00 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof over $50, $100,001 to $1,000,000 $ plus $2.00 for each $1000 or fraction thereof over $100, $1,000,001 and over $1,150 plus $1.00 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof over $1,000,000 d.
