4 BRIEF BACKGROUND Established in Bandung in 1941: NV. Nederlandsch Indische Spaar En Deposito Bank Fourth oldest bank in Indonesia. Solid track record in surviving crisis including in 1998 Indonesian banking meltdown. Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in offices and 539 ATMs in 62 cities across Indonesia (as of 30 June 2009) with more than 22,000 ATMs network (including ATM Bersama, ATM BCA, BankCard Malaysia and OCBC Bank-Singapore). 5,437 dedicated employees (as of 30 June 2009). Change the name to PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk as of 22 December 2008 Core market: > 70% in consumer & small-medium enterprises (SME). 4

Encouraging all employees to have opportunities to fill any vacant position at every layer of the organization through internal assessment process. Sustainable transfer of knowledge from OCBC Bank through various program such as training, Attachment Program, etc. Carried out various training and development programs in OCBC NISP Learning Center for all employees from various cities in Indonesia as well as OCBC Group member. 19

20 Qualitative Review Product and Service Initiatives OCBC NISP Shariah On March 23rd, 2009, The Bank conducted the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) at OCBC NISP Tower, Jakarta, whereas one of the agenda is to give approval of the change of the Bank's Article of Association especially related to the sharia business. OCBC NISP Premier Banking Launching OCBC NISP Premier Banking for our affluent customer segment and rolled out 5 Premier center in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Palembang and Medan. Sales and Service Culture BEE Customer Engagement Launching a proprietary sales and service training model to deliver assurance of customer care, quality and consistency. Process Reengineering Launching several re-engineering programs such as Bancassurance application, Mortgage application etch which resulted in improved customer satisfaction and cost efficiency. Liquid Platinum Credit Card Launching the Liquid Platinum Credit Card, a unique credit card offering special rewards and privileges to the Bank s loyal customers. 20
