North Fort Myers, Florida SCHEDULE We will begin with Show #1 on Saturday, March 3 at 4:00PM. Show #2 will begin on Sunday, March 4 at 11 AM. Online Registration is encouraged and preferred. NPGA rules will govern all NPGA classes. 2. Per NPGA show rules, it is the exhibitor s responsibility to make sure that their animals are entered in the correct classes. Please do not send in entry forms without class numbers listed for your goats. 3. Any NPGA animal over 6 months of age must be tattooed or microchipped prior to being shown in a sanctioned NPGA class or wether class according to NPGA show rules. 4. All goats entered in the NPGA sanctioned classes must be accompanied by their NPGA registration certificates. 5. Registered wethers should also have their registration certificates accompanying them 6. Unregistered wethers can be shown in the wether classes. 7. Goats bearing the judge s herdname may not be shown under that judge. ENTRIES Entry fees are $9.00 per goat/per class. Please make checks payable to Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair (no charge for showmanship.) Entry deadline is Friday, February 2 th, Substitutions and late entries will not be included in the printed program. Age computation for classes is based on the age of the goat on the date of the show. PENS Pens will be provided for this show at $8.00 each. We ask that each exhibitor clean their pens at the conclusion of the show or we will accept a $5 donation per pen to the local 4H clubs to clean them for you. Page 1 of 7

2 CHECK IN and ARRIVAL TIME Animals arrive Saturday March 3 from 8:00AM till 10:00AM. All Goats must be unloaded and trailers parked by 10:45AM. HEALTH PAPERS/RESTRICTIONS All goats shall be accompanied by an official health certificate. Only animals with valid health certificates will be allowed on the grounds. All goats must meet health requirements as specified in the Rules for Exhibition as required by the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. Out of state exhibitors should check health paper requirements before entering the state. An accredited state veterinarian will be checking animals before they are allowed to enter the fairgrounds. SPONSORSHIPS We welcome any sponsorship of the classes in the show. You may sponsor any number of classes for $5.00 each. You get a free business card ad in the showbook with each class sponsored. MEALS There are several restaurants near the fairgrounds. 6 NPGA Romp in the Swamp Indemnification and Hold Harmless Exhibitor covenants and agrees to fully exonerate, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Southwest Florida and Lee County Fair Association, Inc., its Board of Directors, officers, management, staff, agents, employees, and representatives and the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida, along with its employees, staff, agents and representatives, individually, jointly, and collectively, from any and all claims, suits, losses, damages, judgments, fines, penalties, liabilities, expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs, in all administrative proceedings and/or at the trial and appellate level and/or pre-suit, for any injury or death to persons and/or any loss of or damage to property caused by, growing out of, or arising out of User s use of the Facility, including, without limitation, its use by User s agents, attendees (invited or otherwise), sub-licensees, vendors, or concessionaires; exercise of any rights under the Agreement; breach of any term, warranty or provision of this Agreement by User; the sale of products or any act or omission of User, its employees, officers, or agents. User hereby waives entitlement, if any, to immunity under Section , Florida Statutes. Such indemnification shall not apply to injury to persons or damage to property arising out of the Fair Association's gross negligence or willful misconduct. The obligations contained in this provision shall survive termination of this Agreement and shall not be limited by the amount of any insurance required to be obtained or maintained under this Agreement. Nothing contained herein shall be construed to be a waiver of any immunity or limitation of liability the Fair Association and/or the Board of County Commissioners may have under the doctrine of sovereign immunity or Section , Florida Statutes. I understand that I am responsible for the welfare and security of myself, my family, my animals and all my personal belongings. I agree to have the Florida Health committee to inspect my goats for illness and allow them to dismiss if any deemed unhealthy or at risk.
