1 READING YOUR TABLEAU DASHBOARD Color Key Red Bar at Top of Page Camp name, total revenue and Listen360 Green Revenue Information Yellow Customer Growth and Retention Blue Front Desk Sales Purple Day Camp Metrics Section Titles If you see a number in Dark Green in the title, this is the Pack Average for that section so you can benchmark your numbers against the pack. Red Bar Title Information This section shows the name of the Camp whose information is being displayed on the dash board. The number to the right of the Max Dogs number is the amount of revenue for the last 52 weeks, up to and including the prior week. For example, Week 21, 2014 through Week 20, The percentage shown on the far right is the location s Listen 360 score L 360 for the prior month. Your location s maximum allowable dogs (Max Dogs) can be found to the right of the name of the Camp. The number of dogs in house should never exceed the Max Dogs metric. This number is based on the location s total square footage, average play yard to building ratios and the average size of a dog. The formula is calculated by building total square footage divided 60.

2 Green Revenue Information Sales YTD (Pack Average Included) Percentage growth/decline in revenue comparing the same time period up to the prior week. For example, Weeks 1-20 of 2014 compared to Weeks 1-20 of Sales Prior Month Percentage growth/decline in revenue comparing the last month to the same month the prior year. For example, August 2015 compared to August Month being compared is included in title. Pack Sales Prior Month Percentage growth/decline in revenue comparing the last month to the same month the prior year for all Camps open more than one year. For example, August 2015 compared to August Month being compared is included in title. Sales in Prior Month (in $) Revenue in dollars displayed for the prior month for each service category. Month being compared is included in title. No Pack Average is shown for this section

3 Yellow Customer Growth and Retention Customer Count YTD (Pack Average Included) Percentage growth/decline in the number of customers comparing the current year up to last week with the same time period the year prior. For example, Weeks compared to Weeks A customer is defined who has one transaction in that time period. Customer Count Prior Month (Pack Average Included) Percentage growth/decline in the number of customers last month compared the same month in the prior year. For example, August 2015 compared to August Month being compared is included in title. A customer is defined who has one transaction in that time period. Non Converted Customers Prior Month (Pack Average Included) Number of Clients who were interviewed last month but who did not make a purchase, a reservation or have not visited your location since the interview. Dogs who did not pass the interview are not included in this number. Analyzing both the number of Non Converted Clients and the number of interviews from the same time period can be used as a barometer for interview success. The pack average noted in DARK GREEN is the system average for the percentage of interviews who did not convert into customers. # Of Transactions (Pack Average Included) Number and percentage of growth/decline in number of transaction compared the prior year.

4 Yellow Customer Growth and Retention (cont d) Interview YTD Number of Clients interviewed Year to Date. Interviews are shown for this year and the same time period for the prior year. For example, Weeks and Weeks There is one subtle difference from interview numbers shown in Data Dawg. Data Dawg shows the number of interviewed dogs not the number of interviewed clients. One client may have 3 dogs and will show in Data Dawg as three interviews but in this report it will show as one. Since we are including this metric in the growth and retention section, the two legged customer is the focus. Interviews by Zip Code Number of interviews grouped by zip codes and city names in the current quarter (QTD). Only zip codes with more than 3 interviews are shown. The larger the circle, the more interviews that originated from that zip. The color of circle will vary by city name. For example all zip codes in Anytown could be shown in orange, while all zip codes in Anytown Heights could be shown in blue. For more detail, refer to the yellow tab titled Interview by Zip and by Month.

5 Blue Front Counter Sales Warm Up Packages Prior Month (Pack Average Included*) Number of Warm Up packages sold in the prior month versus the same month in the prior year. For example, August 2014 and August Month being compared is included in title. Analyzing both the number of Warm Up Packages sold and the number of interviews from the same time period can be used as a barometer for selling skills. The pack average noted in DARK GREEN is the system average for the percentage of interviews who purchased a Warm Up Package. To find out your location s percentage divide the number of Warm Up packages sold in the prior month by the number of interviews in that month. To be counted in the report the name of the Warm Up package must contain at least one of the following terms: Warm","Welcome","Interview", First, "Intro" OR "Starter". If the package name does not contain one of the terms it will not be automatically tallied. If you want it to automatically tally for this report, you can change the name of your existing Warm Up package to include one of these terms, they will auto tally on the next month s dashboard. Packages Sold YTD (Pack Average Included) Number of packages of any type sold in the current year and the same time period in the previous year. For example, Weeks and Weeks Packages Sold Prior Month (Pack Average Included) Number of packages of any type sold in the current year and the same time period in the previous year. For example, Weeks and Weeks

6 Baths Note: In order to be counted in the report the service name must contain at least one of the following terms: Bath, Clean or "Shower. If your service name in Data Dawg does not contain one of the terms it will not be tallied automatically. You can request the tech team to change the name of a service so it will show up on the report. To do so, please ask your AD to provide you with the Service Name Request Form. Baths YTD (Pack Average Included) Number of baths sold in the current year and the same time period in the previous year. For example, Weeks and Weeks Baths Prior Month (Pack Average Included) Number of baths sold in the prior month. Packages sold are shown for the last month and the same month in the prior year. For example, August 2014 and August Month being compared is included in title. Baths Boarding % (Pack Average Included) Percentage of boarding stays that include a bath in the prior month. Month being examined is included in title. To automatically tally, the service must include both boarding and a Bath service (Example: Boarding, Grooming - Bath- $20 ). If your system uses separate line items for Boarding and Baths, this feature will not work. You can request the tech team to change the name of a service so it will show up on the report. 7 Day Camp Baths Boarding % (Pack Average Included) Percentage of Day Camp visits that include a bath in the prior month. Month being examined is included in title. To automatically tally, the service must include both boarding and a Bath service (Example: Boarding, Grooming - Bath- $20 ). If your system uses separate line items for Boarding and Baths, this feature will not work. You can request the tech team to change the name of a service so it will show up on the report. Purple Day Camp Metrics # of Weekly s Day Camp (DC) YTD (Pack Average Included) Number of customers who average one visit per week in Day Camp in the current year and the same time period in the previous year. For example, if you were comparing Weeks and Weeks this would include all clients who have used Day Camp 20 times or more (20 weeks= 20 Visits). Day Camp regulars are the key to a vibrant growing Day Camp business declining numbers can hit you hard in Day Camp Sales. Day Camp Frequency (Pack Average Included) The number of monthly visits, on average, by customers who used Day Camp for the last month and the same month in the prior year. For example, August 2014 and August 2015.

8 Purple Day Camp Metrics (cont d) Single Day % (Pack Average Included) The percentage of Day Camp visits that are either part of a package/membership or paid as a single day (this includes promotions). These numbers reflects the last month and the same month in the prior year. For example, August 2014 and August Interpreting Day Camp Metrics Increases or performance above the system average in these categories do signal excellent performance and corresponding poor performance in all three signals an opportunity. If performance varies from metric to metric this can signal different issues depending on which metric is lagging. Your AD can help you interpret these opportunities.
