4 II.1.5) Sht description of the contract purchase(s) : GEUS every year carries out fieldwk during spring and summer making use of both ad hoc and full charter helicopters. GEUS mainly makes use of smaller helicopters and often wk often takes place in unmapped areas. On occasion, GEUS also ganizes geological field trips f both professionals and VIP visits (such as ministers). GEUS expects a continued strong commitment in Greenland f the years to come, a commitment that implicates the use of helicopter services in all parts of Greenland. Over a period of five years ( ) the need of helicopter assistance f GEUS operations has varied from 157 to 336 hours with an average of 247 hours per year consisting of both full charter and ad hoc operations. GEUS expects similar fieldwk activities f the years to come. To ensure the supply of helicopter services f such fieldwk activities GEUS wishes to enter a Framewk Agreement with one me experienced service providers that can provide GEUS with helicopter services in Greenland f a four year period.
