CE Marking accreditation is also covered for both Kloeckner Metals UK and Westok. Kloeckner Metals UK services certificated management systems: ISO 9001, ISO and BS OHSAS are audited and assessed by the approved body Steel Construction Certification Scheme (SCCS). In addition, our management systems have been inspected by many of our customers, which include all the leading industrial companies. 6 Integrated QHSE Policy Statement Health and Safety comes first in everything we do as embodied by our Safety 1st programme. We use this to drive towards our goal of zero accidents. We will provide and maintain safe plant and safe systems of work. We will monitor and investigate all accidents and prevent re-occurrence by appropriate action. We will provide information, supervision and training to enable all employees to carry out their roles and monitor / review all plant and premises to ensure standards are maintained. We will continue to build upon the success of OHSAS Environmental procedures will be put in place to minimise the impact of our business activities on the environment. We will develop waste reduction, reclamation and elimination schemes within our operations and always seek to use environmentally friendly products and processes. We will monitor and review our environmental objectives and targets. We will continue to maintain our accreditation to the ISO environmental standard across all of our sites. Quality: Kloeckner Metals UK will be the metal solution provider of choice for its customers. This will be achieved by having an engaged and empowered workforce, best practice processes, state of the art facilities and strong relationships across our supply base. We will set business objectives and review them at corporate and local level. BS EN ISO 9001 registration will be maintained through internal and external audits, management meetings and continuous improvement. CE marking requirements will be met as required by the applications of our customers. As we move into new markets we will strive to attain industry specific quality accreditations.
