1 TOM PARKER LTD QUALITY STANDARD SURVEY RESPONSE DOCUMENT For over 40 years, Tom Parker Ltd has been the experts choice for pneumatic and hydraulic products in the UK. As a result we receive many quality surveys from our customers, typically called vendor assessments or supplier quality surveys. These are either intended to allow our customers to prove that they are carrying out quality development with their customers or used to evaluate us as a supplier. This document is intended to help respond to this type of survey. More critical surveys to assess finer details, when required, will be coordinated by the appropriate managers detailed within this document. All have been trained by our main suppliers and can advise you on the most suitable fluid power connection solution to meet your needs. To provide you with the highest quality product ranges and a great level of service, we are committed to the application of quality systems to achieve your complete satisfaction as our customer. We operate a Quality Management System, which is independently assessed by the BSI and accredited to BS ISO 9001:2015. BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM We are pleased to record that we have implemented a business management system, in line with the latest requirements of the ISO 9001 Series Quality Management System. Our revised Business Management policy states: We endeavour to meet and exceed customer and regulatory requirements in all aspects of our business, by measuring and continually improving our standards to achieve optimum risk identification and improvement, product quality, support services and overall customer satisfaction. 5 REGULATORY & MATERIALS INFORMATION As a supplier of goods used in a wide range of markets (including the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and Food Industries), we regularly receive enquiries concerning information and legislation on products. It is Tom Parker Ltd s policy, wherever possible, to ensure that our customers needs are satisfied, concerning information and adherence to any current legislation of the goods that we sell, whether we fall under compliance regulations or not. Our Quality Assurance Department works as an inspection team, to ensure that we receive the correct goods and obtain the necessary suppliers materials information and technical data according to our customers requirements. If you have queries concerning RoHS, REACH, WEEE (or any other laws regarding your purchases), please don t hesitate to contact our Quality Assurance Department, who will endeavour to resolve your concerns. QUALITY DEPARTMENT This consists of four team members: Quality and Production Manager Quality and Production Deputy Quality Representative Quality Apprentice (who is also a trained auditor) The Department exhibits a wealth of experience that covers both Manufacturing Engineering and Design within the fluid power industry, that was initially BSI approved over 30 years ago. All the Manufacturing, Design, Regulatory Tasks and any customer interfacing activities are addressed by the Quality and Production Manager and his Deputy. The main auditing tasks are conducted by our Quality Representative (and Lead Assessor) along with the Quality Trainee, who is also a fully trained auditor. The entire team are responsible for the updating and maintenance of the BSI evaluated Tom Parker Ltd, Business Management System (BMS). This fully documented BMS is the subject of a strong internal audit schedule that BSI recently certified to comply with the stringent requirements of ISO 9001:2015. With the acquisition of ISO 9001:2015 Certification, the directors of Tom Parker Ltd are totally committed to ensure that the Business Management System aligns with the new ISO Requirements, to give our customers the best possible service, throughout our Business Development Team, the Technical Sales Team and the TPL Area Sales Representatives.

6 TOM PARKER LTD. GENERAL INFORMATION HEALTH AND SAFETY Tom Parker Ltd has a formal Health and Safety Policy under the control of their Production and Quality Manager. Procedures are in place to conduct a risk assessment that identifies hazards and quantifies any concerns. ENVIRONMENTAL Tom Parker Ltd conducts its operations in an environmentally responsible manner, which is protective of the communities in which we operate. Our environmental policy assures compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations. EQUALITY POLICY Tom Parker Ltd s equality policy is to ensure fairness and not to discriminate on grounds of gender, race, age, religion or belief, disability or sexual orientation. WORKSHOP Our fully equipped workshops are designed for our engineers to assemble, test and certify pneumatic (up to 500 psi) and hydraulic hose (up to 30,000 psi), including the fast replacement of hose assemblies. Our ordering and delivery options are easy and flexible, so they can be tailored to suit your individual requirements. We also have a fully stocked trade counter, where knowledgeable staff will help you to find an immediate connection solution.
