1 Annex to certificate concerning examination of conformity No. KP 467 dated Intended 1.1 General The electric chain s of series LCH and types LCH250, LCH500, LCH1000, LCH1600, LCH2000 and LCH2500 are intended to be supplied and d events. Events are e.g. concerts, shows, congresses, exhibitions, presentations, performances, rolling of films or TV or similar. Event sites for se are e.g. atres, multipurpose buildings, studios, production sites for film, TV or radio, concert rooms, congress centers, schools, exhibitions, fairs, mums, discoque, music halls, amment parks, sports parks, open air atres and open air events. For C1 chain s lifting and lowering of loads while people are underneath load is within scope of intended. 1.2 Object of examination The electric chain s are driven by induction motors. For models with two speeds se motors have a pole switch. The breaking system consists of a directed current driven magnetic break. This provides breaking momentum via compression springs in case of loss of energy supply. A slip clutch protects chain from overloading. The slip clutch is not between load and break in load path. 6 2 Conditions 2.1 The chain s are only allowed to be ope by personnel trained according to r s manual. 2.2 One copy of r s manual needs to be kept at site of. 2.3 Obligations and organizational measures stated in r s manual have to be obeyed. 2.4 A yearly inspection has to be carried out by an expert. 2.5 The number of load cycles stated in r s manual may not be exceeded. 2.6 If loads are moved or held above people, requirements of givw SQ P2 chapter table 5 with respect to load system and intended have to be met by external controls in extension to basic equipment. Special attention has to be paid to chapter of supplement to original r s manual. 3 Notes 3.1 This product needs to be labeled with information about producer and specific type, for being able to check match with documentation and serial production. 3.2 Prior to expiry of certificate notified body needs to be ordered to check validity of certificate. 3.3 The technical documentation needs to contain at least: a copy of certificate No KP 467 dated with annex a copy of r s manual electric chain , dated November 2012, pages a copy of supplement to r s manual electric chain , , dated May 2014, pages The certificate concerning examination of conformity is only allowed to be d toger with this annex / IS-FTA-STG/Ja-fl / An_KP467_151214_en.docx Seite 6 von 6
