2 A word from the Chair What a successful event to kick off the year! The 2015 quiz night brought out a competitive spirit from teams representing all laboratories, as they locked horns in the ultimate contest. In the end the glory went to Flinders Medical Centre, who defended their 2014 title. Who will challenge them next year, or will they make it three-in-a-row? Thanks must go to the trade partners that sponsored the event, and to the representatives that attended. Remember if you have any feedback on the quiz night please let the committee know by sending us an , committee@histosa.org.au To all that are travelling to Brisbane for the National Histology Conference I look forward to seeing you there, and if you want to share your adventures why not write a review on a particular talk or session. Speak with your local committee representative. In the mean time we have our first local educational evening next week, May 11 th, at the RAH, focusing on tissue banking. Mr Stephen Pulbrook will speak on eye bank and Mr Duminda Kumarasigne will speak on musculoskeletal banking.
