The following pay rates are effective from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July Equal Remuneration Order On 22 June 2012, Fair Work Australia issued an Order giving effect to its decision on the Equal Remuneration Case. As a result of that Order, pay rates for employees classified in the Social and Community Services stream will be progressively increased over an eight year period from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 December A worksheet to assist in calculating the value of the Equal Remuneration Payment is included with this document. The CCSA Management Infoline ( or ) is available to assist members with these calculations. DISCLAIMER These pay rates have been prepared by CCSA for use by members only. The rates have been calculated based on CCSA s interpretation of award and pay rate information, and recent decisions made by the Fair Work Commission. While every effort is made to ensure that these pay rates are correct, CCSA cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided, and these rates may not be identical to pay rates obtained from other sources. For casuals only, multiply Step i. by 1.25, rounding to nearest cent A worksheet to assist in calculating the value of the Equal Remuneration Payment is included with this document. The CCSA Management Infoline ( or ) is available to assist members with these calculations. Updated 22 June Page 2 of 8
