1 Schedule of Classes for School Year WINTER UPDATE of Dance, Music and Theatre Instruction for All Ages 21 Jandus Rd., Cary, IL Our Goal: To educate children and adults about the arts, develop their skills as well as their self-esteem, have fun and give students practical skills for life. Established in 1999, CGPAC is an instructional studio featuring the unique opportunity to develop skills in dance, music, and theatre all under one roof! Owners Robin Irey Marchiori and Amy Krigas are proud CGPAC has grown to include over 600 students. Our 5-studio facility offers nearly 6,000 square feet of space with first-rate classroom accommodations. If you have questions, please call our friendly office staff for assistance. This brochure is a guide to selecting classes, gaining an understanding of general expectations, what to wear for class, and the requirements for participation. You will receive a handbook at registration which will go into further detail. We look forward to having you in class. ~ Miss Amy and Miss Robin Registration Information: Registration fee - all new families must include a one-time $25 fee to have your registration processed. Upon payment, each family will receive one free CGPAC dance bag. Please register in person if possible. Parent Handbook must be discussed and then signed in person, it is easiest if you can find a time to come in to do this before we start classes. If not, the handbook can be signed on the first day of class. Winter Registration Days and Times: M 12/ pm, Tu 12/ pm (12/20-1/6 by appointment only) W 1/3 4-7 pm, Th 1/4 4-7 pm (closed F 1/5 and Sa 1/6) Classes start 1/7/17 Refundable Family "Work Fee": Approximately 75 workers are needed at each of the 4 winter shows and 4 spring dance recitals. Add rehearsal helpers, costume helpers, flower arrangers, etc. - the total is nearly 700 workers! With approximately 600 performers from 450 families in our dance recitals last year, one worker per family doesn't cover it. One worker per student comes close to covering our needs. In order to earn back your $25 work fee, you will need to work at least one shift per student. There are many of you who work at every show, and we hope you will continue to go above and beyond to make your child's performance experience superior. ADDITIONALLY, those with students in Tot, Boogie Babies, Kiddydance, Ballet/Tap 1.5, 1.6, 1.9 or 2, Jazz 1.6, 1.9, 2 or 3, Ballet 3, Tap 3 must chaperone for their duty.

These classes can be viewed in part or in whole. Viewing days are very important to both the students and the teachers. Please check the dates (listed at left) and put them on your family calendar. CHOOSING A RECITAL CAST: Each class that performs has been preassigned to a cast (blue or yellow). When choosing your classes, try to get them in one cast. Since some classes only have one section, this is not always possible. If you end up with classes in both casts, it's OK! Recital weeks will be hectic, but with proper planning everything can go smoothly. Please remember to keep us informed of potential conflicts well in advance. EARN TUITION CREDIT: We have developed a Dance Points " program to reward your loyalty to our studio. Each school year class will be awarded a "point" for every season (fall, winter, spring). Summer classes earn 1/2 point each. After paying for and completing a season, a point will be awarded. After acquiring 10 points, a $75 credit will be applied to your family account. This program is for active accounts only and credits have no cash value. Points and credits will be deleted from inactive accounts. Credits may be used for any future CGPAC payment. ACCIDENTS, INJURIES, PHOTOGRAPHY: The CGPAC will not assume responsibility for accidents or injuries occurring at any of our programs or on our property. It is recommended that participants review their personal insurance policies for coverage during leisure activities. By registering for any class, participants acknowledge this waiver of liability. Additionally, all registered participants agree to the possible release of their image (print or digital) to be used for promotional purposes. TUITION AND FEES: Your tuition for the year is listed on the schedule. There are three different payment plans to fit your needs. Applicable costume fees are included. If you do not plan to participate in a performance, please let us know in writing ASAP so we don't order your non-refundable costume. Explanation of Tuition/Refunds: It is our expectation that students will take class for the entire school year. To help you budget for this investment, please choose the payment plan that is best for you. Any account not paid by the due date will be assessed a $10 per week late fee. Those families choosing the 2- or 5-payment plan will be required to secure their tuition agreement with a credit card to be kept on file. If a payment is more than 15 days late, the back-up credit card will be charged the tuition amount, plus any applicable late fees. Since our commitment to hiring teachers is for the entire year, refunds cannot be issued for dropped classes. However, CGPAC account credit may be issued in some cases. Full Payment: Pay the full tuition for the year upon registration. Two Payments: Split tuition into 2 equal payments due at registration and March 1st, auto-draft from checking or credit card can be set up for free! Five Payments: If you need a little more time to pay, we can break it into 5 monthly payments (service charge included in tuition). The first payment is due upon registration, the remaining 4 payments are due by the 1st of each month, February through May. Auto-draft from your checking or credit card account can be set up for free!
