1 GRI APPENDIX 217 This is an appendix to Fagerhult s sustainability report, included in Fagerhult Annual Report 217, with sustainability data and GRI-index. Contents About the sustainability report 2 Sustainability data 3 GRI-index 1
2 THE YEAR IN FIGURES About the sustainability report For the tenth year, Fagerhult is reporting its sustainability work in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) international reporting standard. This year the sustainability report is included in Fagerhult Annual Report 217, complemented by this appendix with sustainability data and GRI-index. From the 217 report, Fagerhult s collection and reporting of environmental data has been adjusted compared with previous years. This year, data has been collected for the January November period and data for December has been estimated based on the first 11 months or average working days (Group average). The calculations applied for the respective indicators are detailed in the environmental data reports on the following pages. Produktion: Intellecta Corporate Omslagsfoto: Lina Karna Kippel/Johnér Fagerhult s sustainability report 217 follows version 4., Core level. The report is published once each year and the most recent sustainability report was published in April 217. Fagerhult s sustainability report has been subjected to a limited assurance review by a third party, PwC. REPORT S SCOPE AND BOUNDARIES The sustainability report, included in Fagerhult Annual Report 217, focuses primarily on the operations which exert a significant and direct impact from a sustainability perspective; that is, the Group s own activities. The report covers the entire Group regarding social and economic aspects. Environmental reporting is based on information supplied by all production facilities. The Group s sales companies have little or minor impact on environmental indicators and, consequently, these activities are not currently included in total figures. Products sold by our sales companies but not produced in our facilities are not included in these measurements. Sustainability data from WE-EF and Organic Response, which were acquired in the spring of 217, is not included in the data. For more information about Fagerhult s sustainability work, please contact: Jenny Evelius, Group HR Director, jenny.evelius@fagerhult.se 2 FAGERHULT ANNUAL REPORT 217
