2 China: During the first 5 months, China imported USD 185m worth of pangasius products from Vietnam, up by 49% y-o-y, accounting for 2 of the product's total export revenue. Starting from July 1, China will cut tariffs for 1,449 products from Most-Favored Nations (member countries of the World Trade Organization, including Vietnam). Pangasius fillet is among the products subject to tax reduction (from 10% to 7%). The tariff slash is expected to reduce the incentive for smuggling and cross-border trade. The US: With the unprecedentedly high antidumping duties (USD /kg) imposed in the 13 th administrative review of the US Department of Commerce, at the present, only 14 companies with low duties are still able to export to this market, including Vinh Hoan Corporation. s to this market recorded at USD 146m in first 5 months of 2018, up 18% y-o-y. VDTG) reached USD 32.4m in June, a slight decrease of y-o-y. In June, most raw fish were of large size, which turned out unfit for producing orders and resulted in the volume plummet. Therefore, the Company has reviewed and adjusted harvesting plan to better meet production plan. Overall, in first half of 2018, total export value increased by 14% y-o-y

These companies are cherry-picked from companies listed on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HSX) by the end of 2017, after going through 2 stringent reviewing rounds jointly conducted by the Magazine s editorial board and Thien Viet Securities. The 2 reviewing rounds were as follows: 1st Round: Eligibility Test The listed company must satisfy all of the following criteria: Market Capitalization as of Apr 02, 2018 must exceed VND 1,500 billion Revenue of FY15, FY16, FY17 must exceed VND 250 billion After-tax profit of FY15, FY16, FY17 must exceed VND 25 billion There were 124 eligible companies. 2nd Round: Scoring and Ranking These 124 companies then ranked according to 3 ratios: Compounded annual growth rate of revenue (weight: 3), Average Return on equities (RoE) (weight: 3), Stock return (weight: 30%). For each ratio, each company would receive a certain score based on its principal business (classified under Industry Classification Benchmark ICB). This score was then multiplied with its respective weight and summed up to reach the final score for each company. The company was then ranked based on this final score. Top 50 companies were top 50 highest scorers. VINH HOAN CORPORATION (HOSE: VHC), with its impressive business results and share performance, had made into this list 5th year in a row.
