5 INTERTANKO Member Engagement & Value Proposition
6 Overview is favourable: The overview perception of INTERTANKO is favourable Head and shoulders above other maritime organisations Strong belief that full INTERTANKO benefit is only achieved through active participation - the more you put in, the more you get out Of course there are shortcomings and areas for development I would say it is 80% there. I wouldn t want it to be 100%. We would stop striving Tanker-specificity a key strength the only way to influence is with a tanker industry voice heard at The IMO and other institutions where they make these kinds of stupid decisions INTERTANKO has become the strongest organisation because its members have been used, over 20 or 30 years, to deal with higher and higher demands. That's why I think INTERTANKO has grown to become the best of the organisations.
