1 Edgeview Architectural Control Committee Application to Modify Architecture Thank you for applying to make changes to the architecture of your home. This process is in place to make sure that the neighborhood maintains a welcoming, clean and cohesive look. The ACC for Edgeview is made up of 3 to 5 HOA appointed homeowners within Edgeview. The committee s structure, purpose, and process are clearly defined in Section 3.6 of the Edgeview Conditions, Covenants, and Restrictions. Please read all of the following items, and then complete and submit this packet with your sketches and pictures of the area that you would like to modify. Submit this package to Ginger Rodgers: 901 Fifth Avenue Suite 550, Seattle, WA Or print, sign and scan as a.pdf to ginger@wps-i.com. 1. Upon receipt of this application, the ACC may take up to 30 days to review and, by majority vote, approve or disapprove the plans herein. The ACC may disapprove any request which, in its opinion, does not conform to this Declaration or other adopted standards. Approval or disapproval of a request shall be made upon one of the copies thereof and returned to the address shown on the request. 2. If the ACC fails to approve or disapprove the submitted plans and specifications within 30 days after the plans and specifications have been submitted, which submission shall be evidenced by a written receipt for said plans and specifications, approval will not be required, and Section of the CCR s shall be deemed to have been fully complied with. 3. Approval by the ACC does not satisfy or replace any approval or permit that may be necessary for the Owner to obtain from the City of Auburn or any other municipal authority. 4. Owners shall be solely responsible for obtaining any necessary municipal, state or federal permits or approvals and the requirements as listed in the CC&Rs necessary for the proposed construction or activity. 5. No member of the ACC shall be responsible for any defect in any plan or specification submitted or approved, for any defect in any plan or specification submitted or approved or for any defect in any work done according to such plans and specifications. 6. Owners shall be responsible for informing contractors, agents, and others working on the Lot, of the standards and conditions of all approvals issued by the ACC and shall be responsible for correcting any and all violations of those standards and conditions.

5 Plans and specifications are not approved by the ACC for engineering or structural design or quality of materials, and by approving such plans and specifications neither the ACC, the members thereof, nor the association assumes liability or responsibility therefor, nor for any defect in any structure constructed from such plans and specifications. Neither declarant, the association, the ACC, the board, nor the officers, directors, members, employees, and agents of any of them shall be liable in damages to anyone submitting plans and specifications to any of them for approval, or to any owner of property affected by these restrictions by reason of mistake in judgment, negligence, or nonfeasance arising out of or in connection with the approval or disapproval or failure to approve or disapprove any such plans or specifications. Every person who submits plans or specifications and every owner agrees that such person or owner will not bring any action or suit against declarant, the association, the ACC, the board, or the officers, directors members, employees and agents of any of them to recover any damages and hereby releases, remises, quitclaims, and covenants not to sue for all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or in connections with any judgment, negligence, or nonfeasance and hereby expressly waives the provision of any law which provides that a general release does not extend the claims, demands, and causes of action not known at the time the release is given.
