It is during these moments of uncertainty that ManuMediCash extends a ready hand to help your loved ones cope with the additional expenses should you require hospitalization or other healthcare options for a quicker recovery.

5 Extending a Ready Hand Wherever You Are ManuMediCash is a hospitalization income plan that provides you with daily cash 1 for each day of hospitalization 2 due to a sickness or an accident. It also complements any of your existing medical insurance plans. What s more, the hospitalization benefits are available to you even if you are hospitalized overseas 3, providing you financial assistance for loss of income. 1 A Daily Hospital Cash Benefit will be payable for each day of hospitalization, up to a maximum of 180 days. 2 Hospitalization means admission in a hospital for at least 6 consecutive hours and for which a hospital room and board charge is incurred. 3 This Benefit does not apply when the life insured is absent from Singapore for a period of 180 consecutive days or more, immediately prior to the hospitalization. 6 Keeping You Covered When accidents happen, you can get thrown off-guard. This is why ManuMediCash doubles the hospital income benefit for each day of your hospitalization in Singapore or overseas due to an accident, helping you to tide over the initial difficult period of recovery. Upon your discharge from the hospital, you may be given a medical certificate (MC) by the doctor as you recuperate for a period of time at home. ManuMediCash further pays a daily Post-Hospitalization Recuperation Benefit 4 when you are certified to take rest from work or school due to your medical condition. The daily allowance can be used to offset expenses during the course of your recovery. In addition, if you are not hospitalized but need to undergo day surgery due to a sickness or an accident, ManuMediCash will also pay out a Day Surgery Income Benefit 5 if surgery is performed. This will come in handy as you grapple to cope with your lost income and any additional unexpected costs. 4 The Daily Post-Hospitalization Recuperation Benefit is payable for up to 10 days immediately following each hospitalization and is applicable for hospitalization in Singapore only. This Benefit is not payable if the life insured is aged 5 years or below at the time of discharge. 5 The Day Surgery Income Benefit is payable only when the life insured undergoes a surgical procedure by a registered medical practitioner (in Singapore or overseas) which does not require hospitalization.
