2 The Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters (MAHU) was established in MAHU is a professional association whose membership is comprised primarily of professional health & disability insurance agents and brokers, and health & disability carrier and third party administrator representatives. MAHU is a state chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). The Society of Financial Service Professionals Twin Cities was established in 1934 and is the local chapter of the Financial Services Professionals (FSP). FSP is the only place where you will find a multidisciplinary community of credentialed professionals, including CPAs, attorneys, insurance experts, financial advisors from all disciplines providing an immediate network of collaborators available to you. Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors The MN-FIC is the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors (NAFIC). FIC stands for fraternal insurance counselor, a credential sponsored by the Fraternal Field Managers Association (FFMA). MN-FIC provides insurance professionals access to education, resources and networks that will enhance their productivity. MN-FIC is governed by our parent organization, the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors (NAFIC). Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS) was founded in 1936 and is an association of financial services professionals working together to attract, develop and advance women. There are more than 1,000 members nationwide belonging to 22 local chapters. Founded in 1890 as The National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU), NAIFA is one of the nation s oldest and largest associations representing the interests of insurance professionals from every Congressional district in the United States. With more than 30,000 members nationwide, we are the insurance and financial advisor s voice to Congress and every state legislature. NAIFA Minnesota has more than 900 insurance and financial advising professionals throughout Minnesota. 2
