Zoe Hubbard made a motion to approve with the addition that Homeowner polled chose Common Areas over Monument Sign, Robert LeDoux seconded and the motion carried. V. Treasurers Report By Stephen Johnson VI. a. Recap of calendar year to date 12/31/2014 b. Operating account held $14, at end of the year and the reserve account held $17, c. Developer lots continue to sell and past due balances have been collected in full on lots sold. Directors Report and Unfinished Business a. Improvements b. Maintenance i. Discussed Monument sign. i. Weed control The Board hired a subcontractor to maintain the weed control duties in the common areas. Part of the spraying the Board contracted also allows for retardant to keep noxious weeds at bay. ii. Prairie dogs Perry reviewed iii. Common areas Stephen reviewed grounds maintenance responsibility and Homeowners assistance was requested for ongoing trash clean up. c. Covenant Changes Survey Results i. After canvasing the community and polling Homeowners, the following covenant changes will be presented to the Homeowners formally with voting by Mail-in ballot. a. Storage Sheds and Out Buildings Committee Reports Tom Shumaker provided a general review of the 2014 Design Review and 2014 Newsletter Committee activities and expressed appreciate to the volunteers a. Call for 2015 Committee Volunteers: A sign-up sheet was offered for: i. Design Review Committee ii. Newsletter iii. Common Area Improvement Committee iv. Covenant Revision Committee VIII. New Business a Annual Budget i. The annual budget for 2015 Stephen Johnson presented the Board approved 2015 Budgets. 1. There was a general open forum Q & A. 2. Homeowners voice their opposition and support of the budget. ii. Zo Hubbard made a Motion to reject the 2015 Budget; Gary Cline second. There was discussion and the Motion was not supported. iii. Robert Dexter made a Motion to ratify the 2015 Budget as presented; Marilyn Walker second and the Motion was approved. b. Call for Nominations for Board of Directors (Two - two-year terms) c. Terms expire i. Bruce Davis ii. Perry Olson iii. Tom Shumaker (Alt) d. The only Nominees were taken from nominations from the floor: Darrell Baldwin and Tom Shumaker. e. Election to the Board of Directors: i. Not a contested election. Darrell Baldwin and Tom Shumaker were confirmed and appointed to the Board of Directors. f. Call for Office of Secretary: Mandie Flinn volunteer. IX. Member Forum a. Brian Weigel. X. Announcements a.
