2 W H O A R E W E O F F I C I A L S P A N I S H C H M A B E R O F C O M M E R C E I N T H E P H I L I P P I N E S The Spanish Chamber of Commerce (Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation in the Philippines, Inc.) was founded on July 16, 1899, shortly after the American occupation of Manila; being one of the first Chambers of commerce established in the Philippines. The objective of La Camara is to increase business opportunities among its members and perpetuate business ties and economic conditions that have existed for centuries between Spain and the Philippines. La Camara (Spanish Chamber of Commerce) is made up of both corporate partners and individual members that have an interest in fostering economic relations between both countries. The profile of our members is very diverse: Spaniards who have established their business in the Philippines or looking for new business opportunities in the archipelago, expansion of their company, or simply they feel attracted by its culture and historical ties. However, among our members there are also Filipino societies and individuals, as well as other nationalities, whose business has representation in Spain or are interested in expanding to the Spanish market, also several of our partners are associated by the attraction they feel towards our country or the blood ties they may have. OUR MISSION The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation has as an objective to promote, develop, protect and defend, relationships trade between Spain and the Philippines, according to the laws of the Philippines and the business interests of its partners. OUR VISION Create a community of recognized prestige in the Philippines where its members share a common interest for wanting to strengthen and perpetuate economic and commercial ties between both countries.

Sectoral information of a general nature that allows companies to have a basic knowledge of their sector of interest in the Philippines, as well as assessing the suitability of the Filipino market and the potential that they can have in it. It includes a study of entry barriers and competitive advantages, an analysis of the main competitors, the identification of possible partners or customers, the legal aspects to consider in order to do business in that sector and the definition of the geographical areas with the greatest potential. Preparation of a commercial work agenda for each of the participant companies during the days of the Mission. There is a possibility that La Camara will organize an information session to give an updated view of current economic state of the country. 8 weeks from the request of the service. PROMOTIONAL EVENTS For the promotion of certain products or services, or mostly for communication and brand campaigns, La Camara organizes different types of events such as presentations, seminars, courses, lectures, cocktails and receptions for its members and collaborating companies. Among them, B2B meetings, events promotions and networking, or customized events to meet the needs of the applicant company.

COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE To make available to the applicant a specialist in foreign trade so that develop market prospecting work in the sector that is of interest to you. Is a service oriented to companies that still do not have infrastructure in the country and that they want to start their activity identifying business opportunities and possible clients before proceeding to an implantation process. The service implies carrying out a standard commercial work, from the process of initial contact with potential clients in the Philippines until visits are made.
