In 2030 Indonesia will be the world s seventh largest economy with more than 135 million middle-income earners. Over the next 20 years Indonesia is expected to see growth rates of 6-7%. With a population of currently 240 million inhabitants, of which almost 45 million already belong to a consuming middle class, Indonesia is already a market to be reckoned with. This country in the middle of South East Asia has plenty to offer Danish businesses. And Denmark has much to offer Indonesia, who needs and wants Danish expertise, knowhow and solutions. Get a head start on your competitors, get in and establish yourself before the EU-Indonesia Free Trade Agreement is negotiated and launched. The visit by the Minister for Trade and Investment will leverage the position of Denmark and Danish companies in Indonesia by match-making, showcasing Danish competencies and facilitating direct access to key decision makers within the Indonesian business community and government offices. The business delegation is open for all Danish companies and institutions with an interest in Indonesia. A number of dedicated tracks have been selected for the visit and related seminars and events will focus on the following sectors: - Infrastructure & Energy - Oil & Gas - Fashion, Design & Lifestyle Each sector program will be designed to fulfill the needs and requirements of companies within each sector so as to promote new as well as already established Danish companies within Indonesia. INFRASTRUCTURE & ENERGY The Indonesian government is planning to develop the infrastructure to support and sustain the growth into the future. Investments of more than $70bn annually in infrastructure projects over the next five years are anticipated in order to upgrade ports, airports, roads and power grids that will keep Indonesia on its growth track. Danish competences are needed; from planning to design and construction. In line with the development, the Government has made some changes to the relevant regulations in order to ease private sector participation as well as to boost private investments. Sectors which have

3 been opened up for private sector participation are: Water & Sanitation, Roads & Bridges, Seaports & Shipping, Airports & Air transport, Railways & Electricity. Thus the infrastructure sector offers abundant opportunities for Danish companies that can offer knowhow and advanced technology. The energy and utilities infrastructure industry also offers significant commercial opportunities for Danish companies that supply engineering services and equipments such as turbines, substations, transmission, and distribution equipment. OIL & GAS The market for oil and gas equipment in Indonesia remains attractive and has a promising long-term outlook. Even though Indonesia is no longer a net exporter of oil, it is still among the world s top 25 producers of oil. However, most of the oil and gas production (90%) in Indonesia comes from mature fields, which are continuing to decline. In its efforts to increase oil and gas production, the Government plans to revitalize old oil wells in addition to construction of additional oil and gas facilities, thus bringing significant commercial opportunities for Danish companies. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, investment in the oil and gas industry in 2012 is expected to grow by almost 25% to USD 18.3 billion. FASHION, DESIGN & LIFESTYLE International medium high-end and luxury brands within fashion, design and lifestyle are constantly appearing in Indonesia s urban areas, especially in Jakarta and the other 4-5 major cities in Indonesia. In general, international brands are very appealing to the Indonesian consumers, reflecting their wish for prestige, status and high quality. Even though Indonesians currently spend half their income on food, the increasing purchasing power and wealth implies that the consumption within nonfood products is growing. The Indonesian retail market is dominated by shopping malls. Second in the world only to New Delhi, Jakarta is home to a huge number of malls. These malls have become a lifestyle for many Jakartans, they do not only go there to shop for the latest trends and luxury status symbols, but also to see and be seen, to hold business meetings, to work out, to go clubbing and to spend time in the weekends with family and friends. The Indonesian retail market for fashion, design and lifestyle is dominated by 3-5 main distributors. In a market where the consumer is constantly looking for the newest western trends and designs, the distributors are continuously screening for new fashion and lifestyle concept brands. An opportunity waiting to be explored. PARTICIPATION OPTIONS To allow your company maximum flexibility, the program offers a basic package (mandatory), to which can be added a choice of optional elements depending on your prior experience with the Indonesian market and the specific needs of your company.

Targeted direct mailing of official catalogue with cover letter from the embassy to potential Indonesian partners. Participation in the business activities on 5 March consisting of: - Official opening of Denmark-Indonesian Business Days - Business lunch with presence of Danish minister for Trade and Investment, to which the Danish companies and seminar participants are invited. - Participation in a sector specific seminar (excl. fashion, design & lifestyle companies who will participate in the official opening of pop up shops instead). Dinner/Reception at Hotel together with Indonesian business partners and officials Additional Individual Options Individual options as described below will be organized based on interest from participants in the business delegation: interest in individual B2B meetings or site visits will be contacted directly by the Embassy. Pop-up shops Fashion, design and lifestyle-related companies can show and sell their products in a pop-up shop in an exclusive shopping mall / department store in Jakarta. The opening of the pop-up shop is planned to take place on Monday 4 March in the presence of the Danish and Indonesian Ministers for Trade and Investment. A high-profile event is expected to attract significant media interest and provide a unique opportunity to initiate or further promote your company s opportunities in Indonesia. 8 Conditions for participation in export promotion events under the auspices of the Secretariat of Export Promotion Denmark 1. Basis of the agreement/contract The contractual basis for participation in a collective export promotion event under the auspices of EPD is comprised by: 1) a binding registration form filled in and signed by a duly authorised representative of the company, and 2) these present general conditions for participation 2. Conditions for participation The extent and conditions of participation as well as the services to be provided by EPD are laid out in the presentation material sent, which includes a description of the practical implementation of the export promotion event. By signing the binding registration form, participating companies give their approval of the presentation material sent and of the prices, conditions and provisions described therein. EPD is under obligation to supply the services described in the presentation material. The participating companies are obligated to comply with the conditions for planning and implementing the export promotion event described in the material, including meeting the deadlines given for sending in material etc. to EPD. EPD provision of services is conditional on not being delayed or prevented by force majeure, including but not limited to war, lockout, strikes, civil commotion, natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the control of EPD. If an export promotion event is cancelled on one or more of the above grounds, the companies registered are under an obligation to pay their share of costs already defrayed during preparation, insofar as these costs cannot be covered by co-financing via export promotion funds. 3. Financial conditions By returning the binding registration form, the company commits itself to paying the cost indicated for participating in the export promotion event. EPD cost calculations (see material sent) are based on a minimum number of participants. Should this minimum number of participants not register, EPD reserves the right to cancel the event or send out revised material containing new prices, which will form the basis for the possible implementation of the promotion with a reduced number of participants. EPD reserves the right to adjust the prices given to follow changes in exchange rates, in the event of increases in rental for the premises, and in the event of higher prices due to common decisions about changing and expanding the event relative to the original material sent out. 4. Invoicing Unless otherwise agreed, invoices will be issued as follows: 1) 100% on account with binding registration, 2) final invoice when the event is over and after all costs, such as any extra services agreed upon, are included. In the event that EPD terms of payment are not met, EPD reserves the right to consider the agreement repudiated in accordance with section 6. If the invoices issued are not paid by the deadlines set, EPD is entitled to add interest to the amounts due at the prevailing rate for overdraft facilities as of the expiration of the deadline for payment. 5. Co-financing In the event that co-financing can be expected via general export promotion funds, the representation material sent will indicate that co-financing will be sought by EPD. Participating companies are obligated to provide the necessary documentation and other information relevant to co-financing of the export promotion event. 6. Cancelling the agreement Registering for an export promotion event is binding once the registration form has been filled in and sent to EPD. Thus. EPD has a claim on the price agreed regardless of whether the company subsequently cancels or reduces its participation. In cases of co-financed promotion, the company s registration is conditional on whether co-financing is granted. 7. Transport and insurance Unless otherwise agreed with EPD, participating companies are charged with buying their own necessary insurance for their own employees and own goods, exhibition and information materials, covering damage incurred in transit or while the event is being held. 8. Venue In the event of any dispute or controversy between the parties regarding the interpretation or construction of the conditions for participation or an alleged breach of contract by either party to this Agreement, such dispute or controversy shall be settled by arbitration.
