And, on December 17, 2017, the family stopped by First Capital to express their appreciation and to accept their presents. 2. Facebook Promotion Winner On December 21, 2017, Tara Houser, Vice President of Marketing, presented a Technology Package (which included a Drone and Google Home Mini) to Jessica Shumaker, the lucky winner of our Facebook Likes Promotion. 3. CUAid Donation On January 5, 2018, First Capital donated $1, to the National Credit Union Foundation s Disaster Relief Fund, CUAid. The money will be used for credit union people affected by major disasters. 4. National Wear Red Day First Capital staff wore red on February 2, 2018 in recognition of National Wear Red Day. The Go Red movement was designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health. 5. American Heart Association Donation First Capital sold hearts for $1.00 each at all branches and staff participated in a jeans day to raise money for the American Heart Association. In all, we raised $ Love Your Community Day On February 10, 2018, First Capital worked the Jewish Community Center York s Love Your Community Day. Hundreds of people stopped by to learn more about the Credit Union.
