1 A. Request for Proposal Contract Information PAGE 1 OF 7 Purpose. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a financial institution that can provide the Municipality of Monroeville, PA (Municipality) with an approximate amount not to exceed $1,400, bank qualified fixed rate tax exempt lease purchase arrangement based upon the proposed financing structures. The Municipality will select the proposal that provides the best overall borrowing opportunity based on the requested financing options. Provide proposed rates for all options. The lease will be used to finance the purchase 1 New Custom Pumper; 1 New Custom Command Fire Truck; 4 (four) New Police Cars; and four (4) new DPW Vehicles. The initial cost of the equipment is $1,358, and the Municipality intends to lease/purchase finance the amount for this purchase. The financing amount may change after discounts. 7 PAGE 7 OF 7 Legal Advertisement The Municipality of Monroeville is accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) to obtain terms and rates for lease purchase financing of municipal and fire vehicles not to exceed $1.5 mil. The RFP can be obtained on the municipal web or at the municipal 2700 Monroeville Blvd. Monroeville, Pa The proposal may be submitted by sealed envelope or by to: TLittle@Monroeville.pa.us, with a notation on the envelope or in the subject line of the RFP for Vehicle Lease Purchase Financing. RFPs are to be submitted by Sept. 3, 10:00 am at the above address. The Municipality reserves the right to reject all proposals if it is in the best interest of the Municipality. Late proposals will not be accepted. The proposal shall be signed by an authorized representative of the proposer. Questions should be directed to: Timothy J. Little, Municipal Manager. Proposals must specify the following information: 1. Interest Rate on Worksheet 2. The terms of repayment (Please attach a sample amortization schedule) 3. Proposed terms for optional prepayment. Please also state whether you would allow a prepayment without a penalty. 4. A list of additional costs to be associated with this transaction, including origination or placement fees, escrows fees, counsel fees, and expenses The Municipality reserves the right to reject all the proposals and to waive any irregularity or informality if it is in the best interest of the Municipality. Proposals shall not be split. The successful bidder shall be the lowest responsible bidder of the entire contract. The Municipality reserves the right to delete vehicles from the submitted proposals. Late proposals will not be accepted. The Municipality reserves the right to request additional information from the bidder.
