3 RAK License Round Opportunity The Government of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven emirates of the UAE, is conducting a formal licensing round covering all of its onshore and offshore acreage. Ras Al Khaimah s National Oil Company, RAK Gas, will conduct and manage the licensing round on behalf of the Government. Licensing round officially opened on 1 st April Attractive commercial terms. Exploration acreage in an established hydrocarbon province. New data: 2,200 km² offshore 3D, FTG onshore and offshore. Undeveloped oil, mature gas-condensate redevelopment and near field exploration opportunities. Existing infrastructure and access to local and international markets. 15 Ras Al Khaimah O&G : A brief Summary Historically gas production has come from Saleh, Bukha, UAQ field, and West Bukha Today Saleh is shut in, Bukha and West Bukha have been diverted to Musandam Gas Plant, UAQ field is in significant decline License Status in licenses held by DNO (RAK B, Saleh, RAK Onshore), Baqal (Onshore block), Dahan, (offshore Block), Atlantis (RAK C) systematically returned all licenses to the government except for RAK C Today gas is supplied to RAK from three major sources: o Dolphin gas pipeline transporting natural gas from Qatar to UAE and Oman (~70%) o Umm al Quwain field (~17%) o MGP in Oman (0-12%). Potential of Oil & Gas Natural resources in Ras Al Khaimah has not been fully explored. Preparatory activities for a new Off-shore exploration round have been commenced. RAK 2018 Licensing Round 15
