Main results: Support for political parties If elections for parliament were held tomorrow, the would get 39% of the votes, the and the Left Green Party 15%. The government is supported by 28% of participants (see figure 1). Kastljós news programme A good majority of respondents watched or saw part of Kastljos current affairs programme s coverage of links of Icelandic politicians with offshore companies. Nearly 80% said the discussion had been professional (see figure 2). Trust in Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson, Bjarni Benediktsson og Ólöf Nordal News coverage on offshore companies has led to 78% of respondents trusting Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson less than before, 6 of respondents trust Bjarni Benediktsson less and 62% trust Ólöf Nordal less (see figure 3). Trust in the Government, Parliament and politics in general The majority of respondents trust the Government, Parliament and politics in general less in light of news coverage of offshore companies.
