1 MARUDI JUNCTION TO MIRI AIRPORT 132kV TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT DESIGN AND BUILD CONTRACT TENDER DOCUMENTS CONTRACT REF. NO. PLS VOLUME 1 PART I TENDER PROCEDURES SECTION 2 This Section specifies those matters particular to this tender process and should also be read in conjunction with the Instructions to Tenderer set out in Section 3 of Part I of the Tender Documents. Sub-Clause [Eligibility to Tender] Closing Date and Time Eligibility Requirements 3:00pm on 4 th October (a) A company [including an incorporated Joint Venture with non-sarawak Bumiputera individual(s) or business entity(ies)] incorporated in Malaysia with the majority of its equity or shares are held by Sarawak Bumiputera Individual(s) or business entity(ies) and members of its Board of Directors are Sarawakian Bumiputera. (b) Combined project work(s) value for the past two years of shareholder(s) [or Joint Venture entity(ies) forming the incorporated Joint Venture] shall be more than RM 10 million. (c) The company or either one or more of the Shareholder(s) [or business entity(ies) forming the incorporated Joint Venture] having successfully completed at least one 132kV or higher voltage transmission line of similar magnitude and complexity in the last ten (10) years. (d) The company or either one or more of the Shareholder(s) [or business entity(ies) forming the incorporated Joint Venture] has adequate administrative, technical and site staff to complete the project in accordance with the Specification (particularly in stringing of conductor, optical fibre ground wire (OPGW), optical fibre underground cable (OFUC) and other necessary works to complete the Transmission Line Project. (e) Check survey, easement clearing, access road and foundation works (to be executed by Sarawak Bumiputera business entity(ies) only). (f) Project team comprising at least 30% Sarawakian Bumiputera. (Contract Ref. No. PLS ) 1

Commencing from the Closing Date and Time and expiring one-hundred-and-eighty (180) days after the Closing Date and Time. To be received by the Employer no later than seven (7) days after receipt of the Tender Documents by the Tenderer. The expiry date for the Performance Bond shall be [insert expiry date, taking into consideration the scheduled date for issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate and a buffer of 6 months]. A tender workshop will be conducted on 7 th September 2017, from 9.00 am to pm at Baram, Level 2, Menara Sarawak Energy. Attendance at the tender briefing and tender workshop are mandatory. A site visit will be conducted. The date and time for the site visit is 30 th August 2017 and 9:00 am. The meeting point for the purposes of the site visit is at the Marudi Junction Substation (LAT , LON ). Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory. The Contract Price shall consist of: (A) Lump Sums (B) Schedule of Rates Contract Appendix B [Contract Price] The value of the Tender Security shall be RM 1,000,000.00, except for Sarawakian Tenderers. The Tenderer shall prepare and submit: (a) one (1) original version; (b) one (1) hard copy of the original version; and (c) one (1) soft copy (on a CD-ROM, portable USB memory stick, or such other electronic format as may be acceptable to the Employer), of the.
