The RTI Application dated was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, Dy.GM/Law, Northern Railway, HQ Office, New Delhi seeking some information with reference to letter dated of Ms..Banadana Sharma, O/o the GM/Vig., Baroda House, New Delhi and also with reference to a copy of a poster pasted in around Baroda House, New Delhi by N R M U & NZRE/CTC/SY/LTD announcing opening of a new branch of NZRE/CTC/SY/LTD at Diesel Shed,Tuglakabad, New Delhi, against five points. The Sr.Divisional Engineer, Firozepur Division replied on providing point wise information and also enclosing the certified copies of proof of rent collected from NZRE Society FZR and PTK branch. The Applicant filed his first appeal on stating that information provided is incomplete. The FAA disposed off the appeal directing the PIO/Engg to provide the complete information/documents free of cost to the Appellant within 10 days from the date of receipt of his order. The Appellant thereafter filed his econd appeal before the Commission seeking the information once again. Decision

3 2. During the hearing the Appellant informed the Commission that although his RTI Application was transferred by the PIO,, N.Delhi to different Divisions viz. Delhi, Firozepur, Ambala, Moradabad, Lucknow & Amritsar, information was received only from the Firozepur Division and remaining Divisions have not provided any information. 3. The Respondent relied that as per their records all Divisional offices have replied to the Appellant on various dates. They further explained that while Lucknow and Moradabad PIOs had not provided the information since there is no NZRE office in either Lucknow or Moradabad Divisions, Ambala Division has informed that no rent was deposited by the NZRE Society. As far as Delhi Division is concerned, the Respondent explained that while no rent has been paid by NZRE Society to this Division eviction proceedings against the office of NZRE are presently going on. 4. It was however noted from the Appellant s submission that he has received information only from the Firozepur Division. Therefore the PIOs of remaining Divisions are directed to provide once again the information to the Appellant directly by 25 th June The Appellant at this stage sought the latest status in respect of collection of rent, from different concerned Divisions. This information may be provided by the PIOs of Ambala and Amritsar if it is in their records by 20 June, The PIO, HQ Office,, New Delhi provided the required information(present status) for two offices of N Rly during the hearing t the Apellant. The PIO, N Rly is directed to send a copy of this order to PIOs of different concerned Divisions (Ambala, Amrtsar) for complying with the Commission s order by 20 June, As far as Firozepur Division is concerned, it is noted that the PIO has already provided the present status. 5.
