1 2018 Net Compensation Table How to read the table To determine your average weekly wage rate, we start with your calculated gross annual earnings based on your earnings at the time of injury. The annual earnings are rounded up to the nearest hundred. We then deduct probable taxes to determine the calculated net earnings. The compensable weekly amount is then 90% of the calculated net earnings. The table below shows this and reads from left to right. at maximum Gross annual earnings in excess of $82,700 are not insured and are not included in benefit calculations. between $21,200 - $26,700 Where a worker s gross annual earnings are above statutory minimum, but 90% of the average net earnings falls below the statutory minimum of $21, (or $ weekly), the worker will receive the statutory minimum. below minimum Where the rounded gross annualized earnings is below the minimum of $21, (or $ weekly), the worker receives 100% gross average earnings. For example, if the worker s gross average earnings is $280 per week (equating to $14,600 annually), she/he will receive from us $280 for each week of wage loss.
