3 2017 Open Enrollment Overview Open Enrollment Period: October 12 th October 28 th You can make your elections one of these ways: By logging into the web site at (available 24 hours/day) By calling , option 1 (available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Central time, Monday through Friday) Open Enrollment Reminders Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes to your health and welfare plans without a qualified status change Most elections will roll forward into the new year with the exception of the Flexible Spending Accounts and the Health Savings Account 3
4 2017 Open Enrollment Overview Open Enrollment Reminders (continued) Dependents removed from coverage during Open Enrollment will not be offered COBRA Increases to life, accident and disability insurance require Statement of Health Eligible dependents include: legally married spouses, and children who are biological children, stepchildren, foster children, legally adopted children and children under permanent legal guardianship Failure to properly respond to post-enrollment Dependent Verification process will result in dropped dependent(s) 4
5 2017 Open Enrollment Overview Open Enrollment Reminders (continued) Your new dependent(s) does not need a social security number (SSN) in order to be enrolled just enter the SSN as soon as available Those electing the Value CDH plan for the first time will need to open an HSA account with Fidelity in order to contribute to and receive the CPChem contribution 5

7 2017 Benefit Changes New Enrollment Website (continued) The first time you log on to Mercer BenefitsCentral only, you will be asked a few personalization questions Very Important: When selecting new benefits, changing coverage levels, or adding dependents, you must Add to Cart, and then Check Out to save your elections Be sure to print a copy of your elections each time you Check Out You can update your elections as many times as you want between October 12 and October 28, and your last set of elections will be the ones that take effect on January 1,

23 2017 Benefit Changes Retirees Offer pre-65 and post-65 retirees Mercer exchange For pre-65, retirees will still have the option for CPChem Retiree medical coverage Offers more choices and a better range of options depending on the individual s needs Call Center can offer advice with enrollment choices and Medicare options CPChem s response to Chevron s retiree medical changes Beginning for the 1/1/2017 through 12/31/2017 plan-year, enrolling in the Chevron or ConocoPhillips retiree medical programs will no longer require that you forfeit any remaining RRA funds Subsidized Chevron/ConocoPhillips pre-65 and post-65 medical premiums are not eligible for reimbursement from the RRA 23
24 Ongoing Benefit Reminders Life Events Newly eligible dependents must be added to coverage within 31 days of the qualifying event (birth, marriage, adoption, etc.) Telemedicine from Teladoc For those covered under one of CPChem s medical plans you will have access to a doctor, through Teladoc, that can diagnose non-emergency medical problems and can even call in a prescription Teladoc can treat many of the following: cold & flu symptoms, allergies, bronchitis, sinus problems, respiratory infections. For examples of when to use Teladoc go to TELADOC ( ) or 24 hours a day/7 days a week from home or work Reduced copay of $20/visit for the Select EPO Deductible then coinsurance for Choice PPO and Value CDH, but total cost of $40/visit 24
