2 About This Report Report Features The 2011/2012 Company Car Benefits Survey Report provides comprehensive analysis on car policies from leading companies in Asia. Car policies studied are company car, car allowance, petrol allowance, reimbursement, and car loan/car ownership plan. The full report covers 12 countries/locations: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. All the data contained in this report has been carefully collected and reviewed for validity, accuracy, and reasonableness by Towers Watson consultants. Following computer-aided analysis of the data submitted, participants were recontacted to discuss and review any data that could potentially distort the results. All information is presented as of January 1, The contents and organization of this report are designed to present a clear and comprehensive picture of car policy, company car, cash allowance, car loan, and car ownership practices in Indonesia. 4 ABOUT THIS REPORT How to Read the Figures All the figures presented are percentages of the companies responding to the questions except where otherwise specified (i.e. results calculated on individual data). The percentages should be given the following interpretation: When the answer consists of ONLY ONE item, the percentage represents the companies answering Yes to the question, among all the companies responding either Yes or No. When the answer consists of MORE THAN ONE item, the percentages represent the companies responding Yes for each item among all the companies who ticked at least one item. In the majority of the tables, the sum of all percentages may exceed 100, as a company may combine several options. This is especially the case when different policies apply to different categories of employees.
