2 Abstain: Frank Mahnic Motion passed Resolution # Approve Board Member Reimbursement for Travel Expenses Be It Resolved that the Governing Board of the ESC hereby authorizes the Treasurer to reimburse Anthony Miceli $ for expenses incurred. Local School Board at a rate of $40 per hour not to exceed $600 for a 12 month period. Resolution # Approve Reduction in Force (RIF) for Classified Staff Be it Resolved that the Governing Board of the ESC shall reduce in force within the ranks of non-teaching (classified) staff, through suspension of their employment contract(s) for financial conditions pursuant to Section of the Ohio Revised Code as determined by the Superintendent. 5 853 Resolution # Approve Employee Benefits International Client Service Agreement Be it Resolved that the Governing Board of the ESC approves the Employee Benefits International Client Service Agreement at a fee of $8.50 per employee per month. 6 Be It Resolved that the Governing Board of the ESC approves a contract for service with NaviGate Prepared for Emergency Management Planning and Implementation for $1,500 to be renewed annually for $ The Superintendent updated the Governing Board on new districts aligning with the ESC of Cuyahoga County. Currently, we have 7 Portage County districts, 2 Summit County districts, 2 Geauga County districts and 1 Lake County district that will join the ESC of Cuyahoga County next year. We have been meeting with all Portage County districts and with officials from ODE regarding the closing of the Portage County ESC. Wickliffe City Schools has approached the ESC to be a partner with Lubrizol for a future project. Resolution # Approve Consent Agenda Be It Resolved that the Governing Board of the ESC approves the Consent Agenda with the following items: a. Minutes of April 16, 2015 Regular Meeting b. List of Personnel Changes c. List of New Teacher Substitutes North Coast Shared Service Alliance d. Program Agreements Achievement Center and PEP e. There were over 100 participants and over 30 vendors. Mr. Mahnic reported that he attended an OSBA leadership workshop. There was a variety of topics included information on Joint Vocational Schools that were very interesting.
