3 LOAN REVIEW MECHANISM (LRM) EMPANELMENT / ENGAGEMENT OF OFFICERS RETIRED FROM SBI SERVICES IN SMGS V AND TEGS VI AS LRM REVIEWERS ON CONTRACT BASIS Name of Position: LRM Reviewer on contract basis 2. Brief The Job Profile: a. To review loan sanctions with exposure Rs.5.00 cr and above under LRM system. b. To capture critical risks that exists in the proposal. c. To apprise these critical risks and other observations on the sanctions to respective controllers for mitigation thereof. d. To follow the objectives and guidelines of LRM system and also instructions / guidelines of the Bank while reviewing the sanction proposals. e. Any other task / job related to LRM system as defined / identified by I & MA department. 3. Eligibility: i. The ex-officer should have retired from State Bank of India services on attaining superannuation (not under VRS or SBI VRS) on or before the date of advertisement to be released for this purpose. Retired SBI officers retired on or before 30/06/2015 are only eligible. ii. The ex-officer should preferably be local resident or residing within commutable distance of ZIO centres. iii. No major punishment / penalty should have been inflicted on the official during five years of his service in the Bank preceding his retirement.

4 iv. Cases of CBI or other law Enforcement agency should not be pending against the official. v. The officers voluntarily retired /resigned/suspended /dismissed /removed from the service and those who have left the Bank otherwise before superannuation are not eligible for consideration for appointment. vi. Ex-officers should have experience in handling high value credit or they should have worked in Credit Audit / Group I branches as auditors for two years or gained at least two years experience in Credit audit department / LRM cell. OR The ex-official should have at least two years work experience as Relationship Manager / Credit Analyst / processing officers in MCG/CAG or handling credit desk of credit intensive NBG Branches where minimum credit auditable accounts are five or more. vii The retired officers who have already been empanelled as ESR reviewers will not be eligible for empanelment 4. Terms of engagement: The Reviewer, so empanelled, shall be working at LRM Cell at designated Zonal Inspection Office. Each Reviewer should review a minimum of two sanctions per day. He has to submit LRM report in web format. The engagement shall be on contract basis without prejudice to the pension of the retired officer. Period of engagement shall be for one year subject to review of performance at half yearly intervals. On completion of one year, if the officer s performance is satisfactory and on his suitability and requirement of the Bank, the contract of service may be renewed for a further period of one year each at a time. However, contract will not extended beyond age of 65 years. There will be option to terminate the contract with 30 days notice from either side or surrender of emoluments in lieu thereof. During the period of contract of service with the Bank, the exofficer should not take up any assignment with any other organization.

5 5. Remuneration: The LRM Reviewers will be paid a lump-sum consolidated remuneration of Rs.60, 000/- pm for retired DGMs and Rs.42, 000/- pm for retired AGMs without prejudice to the pension. They will not be entitled to any other perquisites / facilities / benefits etc. from the Bank. 6. Leave One day for each completed month. The leave can be accumulated for a maximum period of 6 days at a time and it cannot be carried over to the next year. There is no provision for encashment. 7. No travelling allowance is payable at the time of interview. Applicants have to attend interview at their own cost. 8. Payment of fixed pay to Reviewers is to be paid by the respective Zonal Inspection Office by debit to Charges Account (hiring of services)
